Zae and kissed his head. I took him from Nix's arms and handed him over to Nitro. "I need a drink. Then let's get this show on the road." I left them and went to the bar. Waving my hand at the bartender, the prospect made his way over to me.
"What can I get you ma’am?
"I need a six pack. And whose dick does one need to suck to get an eight ball around here." I winked at him.
The prospect just stared at me. When I felt someone come up behind me.
"That would be me." Nix dropped a small bag of blow in front of me. "You can pay me later."
I opened the bag and poured out a small pile right on the bar top. I pulled a glass off the stack behind the bar and used it to crush it into a finer powder and used a square cork coaster to cut the lines.
Nix handed me a twenty and I rolled it up sucked a line up. Shit. It had been awhile since I had done this. It burned at first. Then when I tasted the drip down my throat everything went away. It was just me and a feeling of euphoria. I closed my eyes as I reveled in in. Then sucked up another line. "Fuck." I opened my eyes and took a beer from the six pack and opened it taking a long drink.
I cleaned everything up and stuffed the baggie of coke in my pocket. "Alright let's do this shit." I grabbed the six pack in one hand and my opened beer in the other and followed Nix into the room they kept reserved for when Rally stopped by. I dropped the six pack on the chair and pulled my shirt off first then my pulled my sports bra over my head. I slipped the flannel on backwards and laid down on the table.
    "What we doin Trix?"
    "Covering this fucking shit up."
"I'm out. You know what you gotta do Trix. Make the right choice." I heard the door shut and looked over at Rally. He was older in his mid forties. His hair was cut short. The normal mohawk he used to wear was gone.
"You want this whole thing covered up or just part of it?”
"Just get his fucking name off of me. What are my options?"
"Well. Since we are only dealing with this little section I say do what Nix did. Let's cover it up with roses."
"No something else. I don't want to match him."
We decided on lilies. I laid as still as I could sipping on my beer as the needle pressed into my back. I felt a tear escape as I thought about what I was doing. I was erasing him from my skin. Removing the last mark of him. Ending something I never thought I would do. But it was time. I needed to realize that when I left I broke what we once had. No matter how much I still loved him. It didn't matter. We were through. When the outline was done we took a break and I put my bra back on. I didn't need it off since I wasn't covering the whole thing. Nix didn't need to know that though.
I cut a few lines and offered one to Rally. He Inhaled his lines quickly and I laid back down so he could finish the cover up. The buzz of the machine was soothing as I felt each and every second of the needles piercing my skin. When he was done I had one more request. A small quick tattoo that would sum up my life. A heart beat that went into a flat line. Then it would come back a faint little beat.  Down my rib cage.
When he finished with me I cut another line for the both of us and cracked my last beer. "You got work to do or was it just me tonight?"
"I got to do one more."
"Well when you’re done come have a drink with me."
    "Will do."
I grabbed my shirt and made my way back to the bar. The old ladies were all drinking wine and huddled in a corner booth. I dropped into an open bar stool next to Red.
    "Long time no see Trix."
"Yeah. So what's new and exciting around here?" I looked around. There were some new faces I hadn't seen before. Their cuts claimed demons but patched as nomads. "Like him." I pointed to a guy I hadn't seen before. His head was shaved and from what I could tell from across the room he was fucking hot and definitely someone I could let out a little aggression on.
"Payne, nomad, and no strings from what I know."
    "Perfect."
    I looked
