down at the necklace I wore around my neck. I needed to take it off and hand it over. I lifted the medallion and stared at it before dropping it and unfastened the clasp.
    "You sure about that Trix?"
"Didn't you see where I just came from?" I felt a tear fall and quickly wiped it away. I jumped off the barstool and turned around giving him a view of my back.
"Well shit. Never thought I'd see that."
"What did you expect he's got a wife and a kid. I never expected him to wait on me after I left. I knew what leaving meant. It's all good. Nix and I had a good ride but that's finished. And the only thing between us is our son and this club."
"Son huh Trix. That's why you left isn't it."
"Yeah. That's why I left and that's why I didn't want to come back. But here I am. And now it's time for me to face the consequences of my actions."
    "Grow up did ya."
    "Hahahaha asshole."
"I'm glad you’re back. Never a dull moment when your around."
    "Why does everyone say that?"
"Well Trix. All I know is that you got that look in your eye and you ain't got Nix or anyone else to take it out on and well the ones who you can, they got no idea what's coming for them."
"You know I have calmed down a bit."
    "Sure ya have."
"Well Red. It's been real nice talking to you but I need to let loose a bit and this just happens to be the first night in a while I haven't had to rock a baby to sleep so I'm going to take full advantage of it."
I winked at him as I walked away. First I needed to give this necklace back to Nix. Then the night was all mine. I pulled the flannel on as I walked over to the old ladies. Zoelle was in between Krista, Venoms old lady, and a prospect who looked like he was ready to shoot himself in the head. I plastered a smile on my face as I reached them. The conversations stopped as I stood there. "Here." I held out my hand to Zoelle. She hesitated at first then held her hand out. I dropped the necklace into the palm of her hand and walked away. I didn't wait to see the look on her face. I didn't need her to rub salt in the wound. And I was not going to cry another fucking tear over Nix.

"She do it?" I asked Rally as I dropped in the chair in front of him.
"Depends on what you’re talking about."
"She wasn't in here long. She get the whole thing covered up or what?"
"Nah Nix she didn't." He shook his head.
"Fuck. Why can't she just do as she's told."
    "You want my opinion?"
    "No."
"All right then. What we doin tonight?"
    "Fuckin T-shirt me."
    "You sure about that?"
    "Yeah just fucking do it."
    "Who's name?"
"Well sure the fuck ain't Trix, my wife Rally. You remember. You were there."
"We doin the whole name or Zoe?"
    "Zoe."
He nodded as I pulled off my shirt.
We decided on a scrip and he drew her name on my chest. Right where a pocket of a t-shirt would be. I looked in the mirror and nodded. It was just a name. The name of my wife. It didn't matter that I didn't love her. She was what I needed. But she just didn't have my heart. She never would.
It took Rally about forty five minutes to finish the tattoo.  I handed him a wad of cash and together we walked out to the bar. I looked around the room. Zoe and the rest of the old ladies were sitting back in a corner booth. Away from the craziness. I scanned the rest of the room stopping when I saw everyone gathered around the pool table. Trix was in the middle of it all. Standing there in a pair of black yoga pants and one of my red flannels. Looking as if she should be in a workout video not surrounded by my brothers. Payne was standing in front of her. All I saw was red. Who the fuck did she think she was. I stormed over to them and grabbed Payne by the shoulder pulling him away from her. She wasn't his to touch. She was mine.
"What the fuck Nix." Trix pushed me in my chest bringing my attention back to her.
"What do you think you’re doing?"
    "Me? What are you doing?"
"I’m having some fun with my new friend here and you have no right to fucking say a
