changed out of my work clothes.”
“Sit down, Amy. Now!” Adam was in full Dom mode, and Amy was well aware of how dangerous he was when he was in that frame of mind. Not physically, no, none of them would ever hurt her. But all three of them were very dominant men, and she just wasn’t sure she would be able to handle it.

Adam was furious with her, and he could see from the looks on his brothers’ faces that they weren’t all that happy with her either.
“Come here, little bit,” Adam said, trying hard to keep his anger from his tone.
“You’ve had your say, so now it’s time I think you sit and listen to us for a little while.”
Slowly, Amy rose from the chair and was about to sit beside Adam on the couch when he caught her by the hips and swung her onto his lap.
“I want you to be able to look closely into my eyes and keep them there until we’ve finished our talk.”
    Amy could only nod.
“For the past six months, as we’ve mentioned before, we have come into the club every chance we could get. None of us have been able to be with another sub since we saw you. You’ve been the only woman who has brought out this…”
He looked down on her face. “What was it you called it? Oh yeah, this alpha-male attitude. Yes, we are very dominant in the bedroom, but with you it’s different. It’s a need to protect you, to spoil you, to do anything just to see a smile on your face. And when you smile at us, baby, you light up our world. We’ve always known that we would share one woman but really never thought that we would ever find her, find you, and now that we have, there is no way in hell that anyone is going to hurt what is ours.”
Adam shifted his body a little under hers. His dick was so hard from feeling her soft, little ass pressed against it that, if he didn’t adjust himself, he’d explode.
“It hurts us that you don’t have the faith in us to keep you safe. You are our woman, and we would willingly give our lives for you.”
Amy sat up ramrod straight at his last statement. “See that is exactly what I am trying to avoid. You all deserve to have a woman who doesn’t come with so much baggage, someone who won’t bring evil to your front door.”
Adam’s anger quickly dissipated at the look of anguish on Amy’s lovely face. He wanted to wipe the memories of that asshole, Jasper, right out of her mind and replace them with ones of happiness and love. Love! That was a word he thought he’d never use. But he did love Amy. They all did, it was just much too soon to tell her that. She’d never believe them. Amy was scared right then, but remarkably, not for herself but for them. His little warrior sub wanted to protect them.
Softly he pulled her back against him, rubbing his hand up and down her arm until he started to feel her relax again.
“Baby girl, trust us to be able to protect you as well as ourselves. All three of us are trained military, and we’ve all seen combat, so we know how to protect ourselves,” he said quietly, putting a finger to her lips when she would have spoken.
“Jasper isn’t released for at least another week, right?” he asked.
    Amy nodded her head.
“Give us that time, at least, to show you how we will protect you and ourselves, but you have to promise me that you will do exactly as we ask for those days.”
“Adam is right, Amy. We’ve all known since we first met you that you would be the one for us. We haven’t made an attempt to claim you because Ryder, Sam, and Dan asked us to wait for a while,” Ethan said.
“You talked to the triplets about me?” She groaned and hid her face against Adam’s neck. Nudging her to sit back up, Adam nodded for her to look at Ethan. Ethan continued, “We know the type of person Jasper has become. We also know that jail probably didn’t help his disposition any, but you can’t handle him alone. I don’t think he’s coming back just to scare you or even to beat the crap out of you.
