back you mentioned that you loved reading erotic romance novels.”
Taking her by the hand, he led her across to the bookcase and pulled a couple of her favorite authors.
Adam came to stand beside her, and he pulled another one down.
“You also said that you liked pictures of castles.” He handed the book to her, and she noticed that it was one of the most recent publications on the history of castles.
“I don’t understand! Why do you have books that I like in here?” Amy was so confused. There had to be at least five hundred books there.
She walked back and forth along the front of the bookcase, stopping every once in a while to pull a book out. Every time she pulled one out, she found that it was either a favorite author of hers, or a book on a subject that interested her.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” she yelled and threw one of the books at them, paperback, thank God. “You shouldn’t have done this. I’m only going to be here a few days, and then what are you going to do with all these books?”
Amy was madder than she’d ever been. How dare they think that buying her things would make her want to stay? Did they think she was some kind of whore?
Jordon was the one to brave the continuing shower of books to get to her. Placing his shoulder against her stomach, he lifted her over his shoulder. Laughing he said, “Hold on there, my little warrior. What has got your knickers twisted now?”
“Damn you, Jordon, put me down. I’m not a sack of potatoes that you can just haul over your shoulder whenever the mood hits!” She continued to shout obscenities at them.
“As soon as you settle down a bit, I’ll put you down. And trust me, baby girl,” he said, rubbing his hand back and forth over her upturned ass, “you feel nothing like a sack of spuds. You’re all soft and warm with curves in all the right places.”
Taking as deep a breath as she could, seeing as though he was crushing her lungs, Amy calmed herself.
“I’m all right now, Jordon, sir. You can put me down.”
“You’re not gonna throw any more books at us?” he asked, his fingers lightly tracing a path up the inside of her thigh and over her butt.
    “I promise, sir.”
He set her down on the floor next to the bed. Amy stood there, her head down, shaking it back and forth and mumbling something about stubborn men and wonderful books.
Looking up at them, she had tears in her eyes again. God, she felt like such a cry baby around these three.
“Why? I’ll never be able to pay you back for buying all these books. And just because you bought them doesn’t mean I can stay here. You know how I feel about putting you all in the middle. Why would you do this? How did you do this?”
Adam stepped forward and lifted her in his arms without saying a word. Placing her in the middle of the bed, he crawled up to the headboard, propping some pillows on it. He leaned back and pulled her against him.
“Look around, little bit, and tell me what you see,” Adam said.

Amy looked around and started to notice that there were many things that she’d missed. Not only was the bookcase full of her favorite books, but there was also a brick fireplace with four overstuffed chairs in front of it. She remembered mentioning something in a passing conversation about a dream house she had wanted. She’d told them how one of the things she wanted in the house was a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace in her bedroom with two really comfy chairs so that she could curl up on one to read her books. But it had been a minor conversation weeks ago. She was stunned that they even remembered it, let alone built a room with everything she’d dreamed of.
When Ethan and Jordon climbed onto the bed, Amy finally noticed that all three men were dressed only in their jeans. Somewhere during all the commotion, they’d managed to remove their shoes, socks, and shirts. Their chests were magnificent. Strong and broad, and none of them
