giving up, he says, "Well, if you change your mind, you know where we'll be."
I shrug knowing that I won't be joining them any time soon. Which only serves to piss me off even more.  Damn Ms. Fisk for calling my parents about a stupid C-.  That woman is a serious pain in my butt.  “Yeah, we’ll see.”
My anger and resentment carry me through the twenty minutes it takes to hit a drive thru, wolf down my burger and fries, and get to the library all with about five minutes to spare. I'm still grumbling as I push my way through the doors and head inside.
Okay.  Now that I'm here, I have absolutely no idea where to go. So, I pull out my phone and send a quick text to Jordan whatever-his-name-is.  His response is immediate.
Second floor, towards the back of the adult fiction section. Small table along the wall.
Fine.  Whatever.  I'm still mad as hell.
I'm just turning the corner when I see the tables off to the side. There are four of them but only one is occupied.  And it's by a girl.  Well, I think it's a girl anyway. Her head is bent over a book.
Huffing out an aggravated breath, I pull out my phone again and quickly start typing. I swear if this dude is messing with me, I will totally beat the crap out of him. That's the kind of mood I'm in. Hell, I might just beat the crap out of him anyway.  I have to admit that the thought kind of cheers me up a little bit.
As I'm waiting, my eyes slide over the girl again.  She's wearing a red baseball cap on her head.  I don't know any girls who would be caught dead wearing a ball cap in public.  Okay, maybe when they're working out, but that's about it.  And those are usually black or bright pink with rhinestones or some sparkly crap like that.  Plus, I've figured out that wearing anything on their head ruins their hair style, which is a huge no-no, and gets in the way of them flipping their hair around.
I watch as she pulls out her phone and starts tapping the screen.  A moment later my phone vibrates. My eyes narrow as I stare at the girl again before glancing down at the screen on my phone.  Then my eyes bounce back to her.  My anger surges to life once again.
    This chick is my tutor?
Hmmm. She looks small, like she's in middle school or something. Oh, when I see Ms. Fisk again, she will seriously rue the day she messed with Parker Montgomery. She's probably laughing her ass of right now at the thought of some genius middle school girl having to help me with my homework.
Gnashing my teeth together, I stalk towards her and just as I'm about to reach the table she glances up.
    Oh. Hell. No.
You've got to be kidding me.
I toss my backpack onto the table she's sitting at as I stare down at her.  But her gaze doesn't waver.  Not even for a moment. In fact, there's a rather wry look filling her bright green eyes and it suddenly occurs to me that she probably knew about this whole set up on Friday when we spoke.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Beer Girl."  I lower myself slowly onto the chair situated directly across from her.  "So, how's your favorite sweater?"

    Chapter Four

Her lips twitch up at the corners and I can tell she's loving the fact that she's gotten one over on me. Well, she better enjoy it while she can because it won't be happening again.
"As much as it pains me to say it- you were right, Woolite did the trick. So, I guess that's one point in your favor." Then she adds, "Unfortunately you're already heading into this with a ton of points against you. And, more than likely, those points will only continue to stack up in the future."
Damn but her words have something hot arrowing straight to my gut. Well, actually, its arrowing someplace a little lower than that...
Have I mentioned that her lips look seriously kissable?
    Well trust me, they do.
I hate to actually admit this, especially after all my bitching and complaining about having a tutor in the first place, but I'm kind of liking that she's the one I'm stuck with. This
