You're My Little Secret 3
while Jaden looked over the paperwork in his hands.
    “That
nigga is telling the truth,” Jaden said with a frown. He was ready for war, but
it seems that it would have to wait. Now I was really confused as to who came
after my family. Taylor stood up and walked to the door with Larry watching her
the entire time. Just then, something
came to me that I didn’t address before. I walked over to him and quickly
delivered two punches that had him on the floor once again.
    “That’s
for calling my girl a bitch,” I said before walking away. I grabbed Taylor’s
hand and headed for the door.
    “And
next time see who’s at your door before
you open it up dumb ass,” Jaden said laughing.
    We
hopped in the car and pulled off right as the pizza delivery car pulled up.
    “What
the hell made you deal with that lame ass nigga?” I asked Taylor. “His ass can’t
even fight,”
    “The
same thing that made you deal with Tiffany. That bitch can’t fight either,” she
shot back.
    We
rode the rest of the way in silence. I was deep in thought trying to figure out
who could have been behind the attack on my family. The streets talked, so we were bound to find out
eventually. Until then I just had to keep a close eye on my loved ones.

    CANDACE
    “Damn,”
I breathed heavily as I dropped down to the floor. I was at David’s house, and we had been sexing each other all day. I was about to leave when he pulled me
back and blew my back out right in his front room. My legs felt like noodles, and I couldn’t stand up anymore.
    “Stop
talking that shit, I told you that you couldn’t hang with me,” David bragged.
He stood up naked in all his magnificent glory and walked to the back of his
house. David looked great in clothes, but the view is even better when he was
naked. We had been kicking it for a few
months, but we still weren’t a couple. I’m feeling him, and I know he feels the same. Fear is the only thing that
keeps me from telling him. I wouldn’t mind being with only him, but I was too
scared to make the first move. Co-Co keeps telling me to do it before it’s too
late, but I just couldn’t. As of right now, we are only friends with benefits.
    “Open
up so I can freshen up Ms. Kitty,” David said smiling. He kneeled down in front
of me with a warm soapy towel and cleaned me up. He does this every time we
have sex, and I love it. When he was done, I got up from the floor and put my
clothes back on. I sat on the sofa and looked for something to watch on TV.
    “You
want me to order us something to eat?” David asked when he came back into the
room. I couldn’t help but stare at him when he walked in wearing nothing but
his boxers.
    “No,
I’m leaving in a little while. I’ll get
something to eat before I go home,” I replied.
    “You
don’t have to leave. Spend the night with me.”
    “I
would, but I didn’t bring any extra clothes with me.”
    “I
told you before that you could leave some stuff over here if you want to,” he
offered.
    “That’s
funny because Brook and Dominic said that you did n’t
like females leaving things at your house.”
    “Usually
I don’t, but this is different,” he admitted.
    “What
makes this any different than before?” I asked.
    “I’m
really feeling you. I like how we interact with each other. It’s not forced. It
just feels natural,” he replied.
    “I’m
really feeling you too,” I finally admitted.
    “Good,
so now we need to make it official.”
    “Official?”
I asked with raised eyebrows.
    “Yeah,
like me and you together in a relationship,” he explained.
    I
felt butterflies in my stomach, and I don’t
quite know why. This isn’t the first time a man has asked me to be in a
relationship, but this time it feels different. I’ve actually been considering
the exact same thing.
    “I
don’t know David. You and I are so much alike until it’s scary. I have a crazy past, and I know you do too.”
    “I
know that, but that’s the past just like
