over my clothes.”
“Practice makes perfect,” Kevin told her. “You will need to learn for our trip to Taiwan.”
Tina smirked at him. “So what have you been working on?”
Kevin broke apart another pair of wooden chopsticks, placed them on the table, and got up to get his sketch book. He placed it on the table in front of her.
Tina flipped through some of the pages. “Ooh, I like this.”
“I thought you might,” Kevin said.
She flipped another page. “This one isn’t bad either.” He’d come up with a couple new educational toys for both boys and girls. “Ooh, what is this?”
“A house,” Kevin replied, looking over at the sketch pad.
“It’s beautiful, but don’t you think it’s just a little too much for a little girl?”
Kevin chuckled. “Yes, but it’s not for a little girl. It’s for me. It’s my dream home.”
Tina looked the sketch over. It was truly beautiful right down to the landscaping. The drawing contained a lush green Japanese garden complete with stepping stones, and the house was nestled amongst cherry trees. The architecture of the house had a combination of western and Asian features that only he could come up with. It had a comfortable feel to it, like one could spend the rest of his or her life there and never grow tired of it.  “How many bedrooms?”
“Three,” Kevin answered. “It also has three baths and a fully operational kitchen, complete with a wok.” He flipped the page. “This is where I plan to build my exercise area, and next to it will be the swing set.”
Tina looked at him curiously. “Aren’t you too big for a swing set?”
“No,” he replied with a smile.
“You aren’t planning to live there by yourself, are you?”
“No,” he replied, looking into her eyes. “It’s for my future family. I’ve designed it completely green and environmentally friendly using natural light. The master bedroom will have a sky roof so I can stare up at the stars at night.”
“Sounds romantic,” she said with a sigh.
“Yes, it does. And I want to put a pavilion right here in this part of the yard,” he said, pointing down at the drawing. “This is a place where my future wife and I can sip tea and watch the sun set.”
“Sounds heavenly and peaceful. Do you have any idea where you want to build this house?” she asked.
    “Taiwan,” he answered.
    “Oh.”
“I’ve always had plans to return there someday when I get tired of the rat race. Sometimes I like to enjoy the simpler things in life, like taking a nice stroll in a field of flowers or lying in a hammock in my backyard without the fear of someone bashing me in my head while I sleep.”
“And the other two bedrooms will be energy efficient too?” she asked, trying to change the subject. She and Kevin shared similar dreams. She’d been thinking of building a home to retire in away from it all when she decided to quit inventing. Of course, she hadn’t done anything as elaborate as this.
“Yes, the kids need to learn early about conserving energy.”
“Kids?” Tina asked. “You want kids?”
“But of course,” he said. “I need someone to swing with. I want a little girl as beautiful as her mother with big brown eyes and a sweet disposition.”
“Wow, you’ve really thought this out right down to the last detail.” Why is he staring at me like that ?
    “Yes,” he said.
His voice sounded huskier than it had earlier.
“She’s going to be a very lucky little girl to have a father who can design and build toys for her.”
“I have the little table and chair set designed in my head already,” he told her. “And I’ll buy her a tiny tea set that she can practice on while my mother is teaching her a tea ceremony.”
“Your mother is going to live with you?”
“Not in the beginning,” he replied. “But eventually, if something happens to my father.”
That is so sweet of him . “What if you have a boy?”
    “I haven’t considered that aspect. I guess
