    Mary backed away as both men went head to head. Mr. Gray looked outraged; Mr. White on the other hand looked distinctly unruffled. In fact, he looked quite cheerful.
    “ Your office, is it?” He laughed. “Well, not until we’ve had a little chat.”
    “I’m warning you…” He reached in his jacket pocket and pulled out the photo.
    Mr. White deftly snatched it out of his grasp and slowly ripped it. The pieces fluttered to the floor. “You’ll what, exactly?”
    “Do you really think that’s the only copy I have?”
    “Of course not. You see, I’ve already taken care of them. It turns out that we needed to seize all of your laptops at home on the account of embezzling money and all. They’ve already begun the investigation. Your assets in Sweden have been frozen.” Mr. White smiled at his stunned silence. “So I’m afraid that you won’t be blackmailing me.”
    Mr. Gray let out a forced laugh. “Yeah, right.”
    “Oh, come now. You really thought you’d get away with something like this? That I wouldn’t notice? There are two sheriff deputies waiting outside to arrest you. I only called this meeting to lure you in.”
    “Shut up!”
    Mr. Gray lunged at Mr. White, who sunk his fist into the British man’s stomach. Mr. Gray dropped like a stone to the floor as the deputies burst inside. Mary’s heart swelled as he screamed obscenities at Mr. White as he was hauled away. Smiling, Mr. White removed everything that belonged to Mr. Gray from his office and dumped it on the floor. The door banged shut and her lover cleared everything from his desk with one swipe of his arm. Then he beckoned her.
