was affection, caring, respect and a ton of amazing sex. A kinky side job wouldn’t hurt them, would it?
“We depend on Oliver for connecting us with other paying gigs?” Destiny asked. “Then there’s a risk he may not use us, or a client may request something out of our comfort zone.”
“He’s well respected by many upscale clients and says he has a lot of work. It’s a business arrangement, and he’s the manager.”
Destiny tried not to think of the other name she would label him. “So how much kink is expected from us?”
He laughed. “Paula, just have a good time. Act like you’re a guest at the party. When it’s time, you follow my lead. It’ll be fun, really.”
“Don’t forget, when we’re at the party, I’m Destiny, not Paula.”

The house was a lavish display of money, from the elaborate marble fountain, and the exquisitely landscaped lawn with tropical foliage, to the pricy cars lining the driveway and street. “Oliver wasn’t kidding when he said his clients were affluent. Looks like they have a full house. I hadn’t expected so many guests.” A thousand butterflies took flight in Destiny’s stomach. She was more nervous about having sex with Darius, her lover who she’d been with for two years, than her first night stripping. But she was going to have sex with him in front of a bunch of strangers.
He shrugged. “I think there’re supposed to be seven or eight couples.” Reaching over, he took her hand and squeezed. “You okay?”
She shrugged. “I guess.” Did he hear the shakiness in her voice? The last time she had stage fright was when she was new at stripping. This shouldn’t be much different.
“Are all the people aware of the show they’re about to get?”
He gave her a reassuring smile. “The host is a fairly new client. Oliver didn’t say more when I called to check on the details described in the envelope.”
She sighed. “Terrific.”
“Don’t worry, you’ll do fine.” He parked her very modest car, and they walked to the entrance. The owner and his wife greeted them at the door. They were in their early forties, attractive and more formally dressed than she and Darius. The guests gathered in the room beyond the foyer. The women wore top designer fashion cocktail dresses. Destiny wore a simple teal sundress, thin material that clung to her skin and was slightly revealing. She’d purchased the dress at a mega-mart store for twenty dollars. Over her shoulder, Destiny carried a tote bag with a few items they would need later.
“Thank you for coming,” a woman said warmly as she led them inside. She introduced herself as Mari, and her husband Phil, who stood beside her. She wore her blond hair pulled back in a sleek ponytail. Simple but large diamonds decorated her ears, and a dainty necklace lay at the base of her throat. She wore a cocktail dress of creamy white and trimmed with silver beads. Destiny didn’t detect any hesitancy or awkwardness in the woman’s voice, so it didn’t seem that her husband had coerced her into this little venture.
“Oh, they’re perfect, just like Oliver said.” Mari smiled at her husband.
“Please, come in and I’ll introduce you to the guests.” Phil waved over a server carrying a tray of champagne flutes.
Destiny stopped him. “Excuse me, but do your guests know why we’re here? I don’t want to shock anyone.”
Phil chuckled a bit, then looked her up and down with a disapproving look. Darius’ arm slid around her waist.
“I enjoy surprising my guests.” Phil grinned wickedly. “They know I’ve used male and female strippers before for entertaining, but they don’t know what I have planned for tonight. What fun would it be if I told them?”
“That’s cool,” Darius said.
Phil narrowed his eyes. “I was told you two are experienced. Is there a problem?”
Destiny smiled as she did for her boorish clients at the strip club. “No, everything’s fine. I like to get a feel for
