me to stay here at the resort?
And did he actually mean it or was it just some charming lines that he uses on all the girls once he’s slept with them?
“Well, good morning!” Zoe smiles when I walk out in the living room.
Racheal almost jumps up with excitement. “Tell us everything! Spare no details!”
    “It was… great,” I say.
    “So why the grumpy face?”
I pull out a chair and sit down at the table with them.
Rachael rests a hand on my shoulder. “We’re here, honey. Tell us what happened.”
Zoe gets up and heads into the kitchenette. She brings back a hot cup of coffee for me. “This should help.”
Taking a deep breath, I begin to tell them about last night. “It was incredible. Like, really incredible. Almost magical even.”
“Like a unicorn magical?” Zoe jokes.
“Well, he did have one horn pointing upright,” I chuckle.
“Oh yes!” Rachael screams with excitement. “And was it a big one?”
    “Massive,” I reply, blushing.
    “Show us!”
With my hands, I show them just how long and thick Grayson is.
Both girls almost fall over backwards.
“I knew it,” Rachael states, her eyes gleaming.
“And how was his… member?” Zoe asks.
“Oh, it was mind-blowing. In all honesty, I’ve never experienced sex quite like it. Never. There was tons of chemistry between us. It was unbelievable.”
“So, where did you guys do it? In his staff quarters?”
“No – someplace even better. We snuck onto a property next to the resort. It had a massive mansion on it, but Grayson knows the owner and said that the owner was away. We didn’t go into the mansion, but up on the hill was this little tiki hut with a bed and a remarkable view.”
    “Wow… that almost sounds perfect.”
“It was perfect,” I sigh. “The location, the man, the moment… it was like a dream.”
“But?” Despite the joyous look in my eyes, the girls know something is up.
“Afterwards he… he asked me to stay at the resort.”
    “What?”
    “At the resort?”
“Yes. He said I should forget about New York and come live with him.”
“Whoa, really?! You must have left quite an impression on him, girl!”
“Do you think? I mean, he might have said that to other girls too. After all, he’s drop dead gorgeous and I’m sure a lot of single girls come to the resort.”
“A man doesn’t ask a girl to stay with him unless he’s head over heels for her,” Rachael’s voice is firm. “It’s every man’s dream to screw a beautiful woman and then walk away. He wouldn’t offer something like that unless he meant it.”
“Do you really think so?” I ask, starting to feel bad about running out on Grayson.
“Absolutely… but I get the feeling you didn’t say yes?”
    “I didn’t say anything.”
“What? What did you do then?”
    “I ran away.”
    “Like literally ran away?”
“Uh-huh. I don’t know what came over me, I just ran. And ran. It was all just too overwhelming. On the one hand, the city is my home and is a part of my identity… but on the other hand, no one has ever made me feel so… special and wanted.”
“So, is he amazing enough to tempt you to stay?”
“Well, he seems perfect in every way, but…”
“There’s that word again…” Rachael cuts in.
Sighing, I bury my face in my hands. “I just don’t know if I can live without a busy, high-pressure city.  I don’t know if I could be content here with just peace and quiet. I don’t even know who I am without the demands of work. Like I said, I love New York. It’s my home.”
“But what do you really have there?” Rachael’s question packs a punch.
I pause to think about the question.
“What is it that’s keeping you in New York?” Zoe adds.
Both these girls grew up in New York but ventured outside the city to live in different states.
Their lives have evolved since they left.
    But not mine.
All I know is the Big Apple.
Maybe they’re right. Maybe I need to know what else is out
