communicate, but did nothing more to alert anyone they were friendly.
"All right, quiet down," Sgt. Casey said as he sat at the desk in front of the room. "We have three men from the FBI here who are going to brief us on the Dragon-killer case. So, listen up. After that we'll get to the car assignments."
Before they started the lieutenant and captain ushered the entire Anti-Crime Team in. A few homicide detectives who were active on the scene entered the already full room and stood behind the agents in front to add comments where appropriate.
All Dave could do was stare at Robbie. His suit was immaculate and expensive looking, his hair was shining 41

chocolate brown and wavy, brushing his broad shoulders, and his blue eyes were electric when they connected to him.

Robbie did his best not to draw attention to that handsome black officer, but every time he looked over, he caught that luscious gaze of his. As the sordid details of the crime investigation were revealed, all Robbie could think about was their plans to get together that night, and of stripping off that uniform to see the living god that was hiding underneath.

"We're passing around a composite sketch of the man that a witness saw with the victim as they entered the building."
The small agent handed two piles of photocopies to each side the room. "If you see a man matching this description lingering anywhere near the International District, stop him and ID him. I don't care how you do it, just get a name."
When Dave got the photocopy in his hand, it was exactly as he had imagined it would look knowing the description of the suspect first hand. He passed the rest to Lisa and then glanced up to see Robbie staring at him again.
"We are going to the community leaders now and warning them. We are also advising young men to use caution when associating with anyone who fits this description. So keep alert." Agent Skinner nodded to the captain who then nodded to the sergeants to continue with roll call.
"Right. Car assignments." Sgt. Wilson called his car assignments out loudly, then the next sector was given theirs.

Once that had been done, the sergeant of the ACT team gave his out, until everyone in the room knew where they were supposed to be. Finally, Max, the homicide lieutenant moved to the front to be heard. "He's going to hit again. Most likely tonight. He's fearless and thinks he can't be caught. So far he has left nothing for us at the crime scenes. They are so spattered with the victim's blood and tissue that it's impossible to believe he can walk out without being covered in blood. But the witness said he was over-dressed for the heat so he may be wearing two sets of clothing. We're sending a K9 team to sniff around for anything left in the dumpsters and alleys. Just keep alert and be careful out there."
Sgt. Wilson asked, "Anyone have anything else? Any questions?"
When it was quiet and he was about to send everyone out, Robbie spoke up. "He watches the police. He may own a scanner. He's either been a cop or has studied them. He's very clever when it comes to evidence and evading capture.
My guess is that when we come close, he'll leave town and begin again in the next state, like he has so far."
When he paused, Dave raised his hand.
Robbie smiled at him and nodded.
"How many do we suspect he killed in Oregon?"
When the other two FBI agents looked constipated suddenly and no one answered, the homicide detective evaded it by saying, "That hasn't been determined yet."
"Too many," Lisa whispered to him quickly.

Looking back at Robbie, Dave could almost hear him say he would tell him later, though he never moved his lips.
"All right, hit the streets. Be careful out there," Sgt. Casey said.
Standing up slowly, waiting to see if Robbie would speak to him, Dave assumed that wouldn't be his style, so they just smiled secretly at each
