entranceway, Chyna closed the door behind him and locked it. She went to head for the living room but found herself caught in Jaxon’s strong arms and turned toward him. His lips claimed hers. He kissed her thoroughly, his tongue pushing inside her mouth to duel with hers. Desire bloomed deep within her, making her ache for him.
Chyna took a deep breath through her nose, inhaling Jaxon’s masculine scent as well as the smell of the roast beef. With great reluctance, she ended the kiss. “It’s not as if I want to end this. I don’t want to ruin the food.”
Jaxon gave her a crooked smile. “We can’t have that. It smells too good to waste. We can wait to take this kiss further.”
She could wait, but her body was yelling “hell no”. Chyna ignored it and led Jaxon into the living room. “Take a seat. I just have a few things I have to finish, then we can eat.”
“I can sit in the kitchen.”
“All right. I’ll put you to work setting the table if you do.”
“I can do that. I’d rather be with you than sitting out here while you’re in there.”
Jaxon followed Chyna into the kitchen. She set him to work setting the table as she finished preparing the meal. He even offered to slice the roast beef, which she took him up on.
It felt kind of homey, sitting at her small kitchen table, eating with Jaxon. Chyna took a few bites of her food before she had a sip of the wine Jaxon had brought. “The wine is good,” she said.
“As is the food,” he replied. “I haven’t had a home-cooked meal like this in a very long time.” He gave her a sexy smile that just about melted her into a pile of goo. “I could get used to this.”
And she could get used to having him sharing meals and her life with her. Chyna immediately tamped down that thought. She would not set herself up to have her heart broken.
“Well, I’ll have to cook for you again then. It’s nice cooking for someone other than myself.” Chyna took another bite of food, chewed, then swallowed. “So, do you still have to work tonight?”
Jaxon nodded. “Yes, but I don’t have to leave here until it gets dark.”
“You don’t have any set time that you start? Only when it’s night out?”
“I know it sounds funny. The hours are just part of the job.”
“At least that gives us more time together before you have to leave.”
He turned a heated gaze on her. “And lots of time to do everything I’ve been thinking of doing to you.” He reached across the table and captured her hand. “Ever since last night, I haven’t been able to get the taste of you off my tongue. All day I’ve craved more of you.”
A shiver of arousal shot through Chyna. Her pussy clenched, wetness pooling deep inside it. Her need to have Jaxon shot through the roof. She licked her suddenly dry lips and Jaxon’s gaze followed the movement.
“I’m done eating. What about you?” she asked in a husky voice.
    “Yes.”
They both stood at the same time. Jaxon met her halfway as she closed the distance between them. His arms came around her and his lips took hers in a searing kiss. It was so hot Chyna was surprised they didn’t set the room on fire.
Jaxon picked her up off her feet and Chyna wrapped her legs around his waist. He carried her out of the room. The thick bulge in his jeans rubbed against her pussy with each of his steps.
It took longer than it should for Jaxon to reach her bedroom. He kept stopping every few paces to put her back against the wall to drive her wild. His lips never left hers and he ground his hard cock between her legs. A couple of times, Chyna was about ready to beg him to forget the bed and just take her right there and then. Tear off her clothes and his and give her what her body desperately ached for.
When Jaxon finally made it to her bedroom, Chyna kept her stranglehold on him as he lowered her to the center of the mattress. She only let him go long enough for him to strip her shirt and bra off.
    His hands skimmed lower
