wondering how many girls he’d fucked in here, until I finally got the nerve to text him.
Five minutes later, he was standing in the doorway, a grin on his face.
“Hi, Daddy,” I said, matching his smile.
“Hello, little one. Is that any way to greet Daddy? Get over here and get on your knees, then say hello properly.”
It was what I’d been waiting to hear, and with a click of his lock, he began removing pieces of the gladiator costume he’d been wearing.
I walked over to him and dropped to my knees, licking my lips in anticipation. Staring up at him as each item came off, I groaned as he dropped the last piece, showing me his amazing shaft.
He slid his cock into my mouth, and I began to lick and suck with earnest.
“Daddy likes your tits, little girl,” he growled, reaching into my top and squeezing my breasts. “So good … the way your mouth moves over my cock.”
He held me there and fucked my face until he came down my throat. My pussy was slippery with anticipation of what would come next, and he didn’t disappoint. Placing me in the center of his bed, he held onto my pigtails and fucked me hard and fast from behind. So hard I had to bite on the pillow to keep from screaming out.
After he’d come, I stood to get dressed. I bit my lip in embarrassment at the small puddle I’d left on his bed, but he just smiled.
We turned away from each other to put our costumes back on in awkward silence. When I’d finished, I turned around to find him staring at me. “Awww, hell no. Your dad is right.”
I furrowed my brow as he went to his closet. “Here. Go as a football player,” he said as he handed me his high school jersey. I didn’t see what the big deal was, but I slid it over my head anyway. It came down to mid-thigh.
He ran his hand through his hair. “Fuck, you look even sexier, only now it looks like I’ve just fucked you.”
I giggled. “You did just fuck me.”
“I’d prefer everyone downstairs didn’t know that.”
His words stung a little. It made sense, but it hurt to hear it.
I didn’t need his charity anyway. “You should get back to the party. I have somewhere else to go, anyway,” I said, peeling off his jersey and handing it to him.
Before he could say a word, I left his room and slipped out the back of the house. I had considered calling Mark, who’d asked me to go to a party with him, but in the end, I didn’t.
I didn’t blame Senator Joseph, but I couldn’t handle the rejection again. Going back to my original plan from the Fourth of July, I vowed that if he wanted me, he’d have to be the one to initiate our next encounter.
Ironically, that’s just what he did. I’d gone home to spend Thanksgiving with my dad, needing a break from the dorms anyway. I thought it would be a quiet weekend spent in sweats and reading a novel, until my dad announced that the Senator was coming to dinner.

Chapter 3

I walked up the creaking front steps of Carter’s place, bottle of wine in one hand and a homemade pumpkin pie in the other.
“Hey, Max,” Carter said, opening the door. “Come on in. Grab a beer from the fridge. The first of the games is about to start.”
I walked into his kitchen and grabbed a beer. It was nice to just be Max here—to take a break from the day-to-day pressure of being a Senator. While here with Carter, I fetched my own beer, got my own food, and just got to be an everyday guy. It was half of the reason I’d accepted his invitation to come to Thanksgiving at his house this year. Dinner at my parents’ would have been wonderful, but they had invited nearly twenty people—all somehow connected to politics—forcing me to play the good senator all day. Here, I could just relax, drink beer, yell at the game on television, and perhaps toy with Mackenzie.
She was the second reason I was here. Being the only daughter of my best friend and political advisor, warning bells should have been blaring, but one glance at her, and I was unable to
