to make love to one man, but because I can’t have that… I’m done. Doing this will really teach my parents and that so called perfect man a fucking lesson.
My heart disappeared when I ran from Logan to keep him safe. I know my father. The kinds of things I’ve overheard him talk about… He would hurt Logan. I love him enough to let him go so he was safe.  I’ll forever love him. I’ll forever miss him, but I can’t have him.
This Tony character was going to get the bride, fine, but she was going to be a whore. That’s what he deserved. That’s what they all deserved.
“Okay fine. I’ll come by and pick you up tonight.”
“No, we’ll meet at our normal place. There’s no way I’m taking the chance for them to stop me.  I’ll see you in ten.”
Hanging up the phone, I head straight to my closet. Walking inside, I run my hand over the clothes as I walk to the back of it. It was all preppy stuff. The things that you wore to be in competition with all the other stuck up snobs.
Stopping, I see the jacket of Logan’s. He had given it to me one night when I was cold but didn’t want to leave him. Changing, I put on the tightest pair of jeans I had. Then thumbing through the shirts, I found the tank top that Logan liked. It hung low on my bigger breasts.
Moving out of the closet and into my bathroom, I sit at the vanity. Looking at my reflection, my dark hair pulled back in its normal bun. Quickly releasing it, my hair tumbles down, falling down my back and over my shoulders. Brushing it and adding my styling, it looks sleek and… dare I say it… sexy.
Pulling out my makeup kit, that I very rarely use, I sift around for my eye liner. Applying some dark eye liner, my eyes seem to just jump from my face. Looking through the kit, I find red lipstick and apply it darkly. Blotting my lips, I stand and look at my reflection, almost not recognizing the woman that stared back at me. Smiling, this was exactly what I need to do.
Grabbing my purse, I leave my room and head down the stairs. My mom calls from behind me, but I keep walking.
“Where are you going Faith?  Tony will be over here tonight,” she continues to call from behind me.
What the fuck did I care if he came over? The last time he was here, he raped me and beat me, but Mommy and Daddy dearest didn’t care.
“It’s not rape Faith. He’s your significant other.”
Fuck that! I didn’t want to and he tied me to the bed and took what he wanted, hitting me as I continued to struggle and plead with him to stop. That was not consensual, nor is the fact that I’m being forced to marry him.
It’s been four months since I last saw Logan. Four months. I’ve not wanted to do anything, go nowhere, nothing. My life sucked and the only thing that made it worth it, I had to push away. Tonight was the start of making them pay.
Slamming the door shut behind me, I walk to my car and peel out of the drive. Looking in my rearview mirror, I can see Beau hot on my tail. Beau following me didn’t piss me off. He was my brother. He was my best friend outside of Lia of course. He’s been watching over me for as long back as I can remember.
Pulling into the restaurant parking lot, I looked at myself in the mirror before exiting the car. Walking straight inside, I go right over to the table we always get and wait on Lia to show up. She was never on time. It amazes me that she can even run a business.
Looking around the restaurant, it really hasn’t changed any in all the years that I’ve been sneaking off here. It was still as dingy as ever with its chipped Formica tables, ripped upholstered booth seats. The walls are no better. I never touch them. It is just the place to come to so my parents didn’t find me.
I love Lia to death, but my parents consider her a bad influence. Maybe she was, but at least she never forces me to do things I don’t want to. She never took away my voice.
My eyes meet Beau’s and he glares at me. He knows what I’m
