apart and he flung out a hand to
hold them open. He ended the kiss but she clung to him with her eyes closed.
"Just a few more feet, sweetheart."
Her lids rose slowly. "If I'd known you kissed like that…"
She sucked in a choppy breath.
He grinned and scooped her up in his arms. "We woulda
been doing this since December?" Ah, shit, that sounded like he was
looking for something long term with her. He strode down the hall looking for
their suite.
A little pucker marred the perfect skin between her brows.
"Do you think we can make up for lost time?" She gave him a wicked
leer.
A chuckle rolled from his chest as he set her down in front
of the Wrangler Suite. "Damn sure gonna try."
He slid the keycard from his pocket and opened the door,
guiding her in ahead of him.
"Oh. This is gorgeous." Kira walked in, looking
down at the pure white carpet.
Dallas followed, taking her hand and leading her to the
black leather couch, bracketed by two red leather chairs. The furniture faced
floor-to-ceiling windows that glowed with the setting sun behind the skyline of
Vegas. "Fancy."
He looked to his right. A small wooden bar with two stools
stood in front of a mural of wild mustangs racing across scrubland.
"Perfect choice of suites." Kira let go of his
hand and walked to the bar. A silver bucket held a bottle of chilling
champagne. She tapped it with her finger. "Should we?"
He shook his head. Behind her, the open door to the bedroom
showed the room radiating in golden sunlight. He gestured toward it.
"Should we…check out the bedroom first?"
She glanced toward the room and looked back at him, her lips
parted, her nipples hard against her soft dress, and her cheeks warmed with
color. "Turn off your phone." She backed into the bedroom and pulled
her phone from the little white bag hanging from her shoulder.
He tugged his phone from his pocket, turned it to silent,
and tossed it onto the bar. Blood rushed from his head down to his groin,
filling his cock and pulsing in his balls. Following her into the bedroom, he
barely glanced at the big window framing the view of the strip, the red satin
bedspread, or heavy wood furniture before his gaze riveted on her.
Kira faced him and kicked off her sandals.
He mirrored her, toeing off his boots. Somehow, a barefoot
Kira wound him up faster than any other woman had, barefoot, or butt naked. He
had to watch this connection they had. It could last a few days, even a week
'til after Boone's wedding. But that would be the end. No long-term, long-distance
anything.
But for now, this was good. She was as hot and ready as he
was, and he couldn't deny himself a taste of Kira.
She sauntered over toward him, the look on her face
seductive and impatient. She lifted his hat from his head and set it on the
dresser. She must appreciate the importance of a cowboy's best hat. Tugging at
the first button of his shirt, she darted her tongue across her bottom lip.
"How do you like it, cowboy?"
His hips jerked as a blast of lust rocketed into his shaft.
"Hard and fast the first time, sweetheart. Then slow. Hours of sweaty, hot
sex in a dozen different positions."
Her eyelids fluttered as she sucked in a breath.
"Somehow, I knew you'd want it just like that."
He unfastened the six small buttons at the front of her
dress. "And you're okay with skipping the party tonight?" Boone would
understand, based on basic guy code, but Gigi? He doubted it.
She slowly shook her head. "She'd kill me." She
tugged his shirt out of his pants and finished the last buttons.
"More likely, she'd send Boone up here to get you, and
no matter what you said, I'd be the bad guy." He slid one dress strap off
her shoulder revealing a lacy blue bra strap. His big, tanned hand against her
pale skin revealed her fragile side. It caught him by surprise and shook him a
little.
"Okay, let's do this." She ran her hands up his
abs to his chest and purred for a second. "Let's do the hard and fast
thing and see what else we have time for,
