    I wondered what it was, but I could tell from his sly expression that he wasn’t going to tell me anything about the location. We started eating. The food was scrumptious. After we ate, he took my hand and led me to the limo. We went down the road to what seemed to be a nightclub. I grew a bit nervous since I hadn’t been to one of these in a long time.
    “We’re here,” he said.
    I nodded and got out. We were immediately led inside and he took me to the back VIP lounge. There were a few people there, but we plopped down on one of the sofas.

    He left for a second to get some drinks. Despite my worries, I decided to have one drink. It was only going to be one. I wasn’t going to go completely stupid. However, things were going a bit different than I planned after the first one.
    Sure enough, one drink soon turned into five. I was wasted. I was moving around and swaying with the music .Chase looked at me and smiled. I crawled into his arms and smiled back at him.
    “Am I really that silly?” I asked.

    Lila was drunk. No, she was fucking wasted. Although it was kind of cute to see, I knew that I had to take her back. I wanted to make sure that she got back home okay.     “I’ll make sure to get you back home safely,” I said. I had to be the knight in shining armor. Even though she might be pissed that she got drunk under my supervision, the least I could do was to help her out.
    She said something after that which made me a bit nervous.

    My eyes widened. I thought about saying no for a second, but my head was already nodding. Man, don’t do this…you’ll fuck it up…or her.
    Before that thought could even settle, I was telling the driver to take us back to my place. I carried her inside and laid her down on my bed. She was breathing softly. It was beautiful to see.
