Be Mine
gym, I ask, “Who is he? I haven’t seen him working out, and he doesn’t exactly look like he does either.”
“I’m not sure, to be honest.”
“Maybe you should find out then. No point in having all this security in place, if you’re letting unknown, non-members in. It didn’t look like he was checking out the place, as a prospective gym to join. More as if…”
“He’s trying to recruit MMA underground fighters. Shit.” Turning quickly back, Jonathan collars the skinny man who is talking to other gym members. I don’t listen to see what he says, instead carry on to the changing room to shower. I’m just finishing dressing when he finally enters, grumbling away to himself.
    “What are you muttering about?”
“He was trying to get the guys to join an underground fight club. Fair enough if they want to do that, but I won’t have anyone being recruited on my property.”
“Have you thought of getting a code for the gym door similar to the changing rooms? You can even use the same code to make it easier for the members.” I ask, while tying my shoelaces. I grab my jacket from my locker and close the door, “At least then, members can enter the areas. While prospective members can enter the building, but will have to wait to be shown around.”
“Yeah, I might have to do that. Makes sense anyway,” running his fingers through his sweaty hair, he gives a grimace of annoyance, before grabbing his towel and heading into the showers. “Yeah, I’ll pick one up on my way to yours later,” he calls out before blasting the water, anything else he might have said is drowned out. I collect my gym bag from the floor where I’d dumped it, and leave.

Chapter 11
Two hours after work, I finally arrive at Mark’s and Sally’s. Going by the way the door flies open when I pull into their drive, and her bouncing impatiently on the spot. I’m guessing Sally was waiting for me to arrive.
“Come on, hurry up. I need your advice on what to wear,” she calls out before darting back inside, only to pop out again a split second later.
“I’m coming, give me a second to get out of the car,” I laugh in delight at seeing her so excited. Three minutes later, I’ve been dragged upstairs and shoved into her room, where I see a bombsite of discarded clothes before me.
“Wow, did they explode out of your wardrobe?” I ask, looking around in shock, “I never knew you had so many clothes.”
It takes twenty minutes just to tidy up the mess, another twenty to decide on an outfit for her to wear. Finally I manage to escape downstairs, where I find an amused looking male, lounging on the sofa. I watch him uncoil his large body, and stand in a fluid motion. In a few quick strides he’s in front of me, a smirk plays about his mouth, and a hint of a dimple flickers in his left cheek.
“You look stunning,” his voice rumbles out and flows over me. I can feel the vibrations lapping at me, teasing my senses, making my pulse jump to life. “Would you like something to drink, or is your news you’re dying to tell, about to explode from you, similar to how Sally’s clothes did earlier?” he teases, before bending to kiss me.
Our mouths open and explore one another’s, tasting, and sipping. Wrapping my arms around his neck, I plaster myself to his firm body. Leaning into his warmth and embrace, I feel peace surrounding me, us.
The scent of spice and something purely him, intoxicates me. I wiggle fractionally closer, inhaling him, feeling every clothed inch of him. A little groan escapes from me, as I mutter, “Too many clothes,” with a fair amount of disgust in my voice.
I hear his deep chuckle reverberating in my ears, and feel it vibrating through his powerful body.
“Mmm, you’re like a human vibrator,” pops out of my mouth, before I even think of what I’m about to say. It’s only when I hear the bark of his laughter, and a spluttering cough from behind me, my words penetrate my brain.
    “OMG, you
