burning with shame at how easily I’d given myself to Grant.
    “Did you use it?”
“Use the chain?” I repeated dumbly. “How would we use the chain?”
Tyler stood up then and bent down and picked something up. I could see the silhouette of his body reflected on the wall behind him.
“It’s long and hard and stiff, yet surprisingly supple in my hands.” He said softly as he stood there.
“What are you talking about?” I looked down to his pants.
“Get your mind out of the gutter.” He grinned as he held up his chain. “What do you think?”
“Oh.” I stared at the chain for a few seconds and jumped off of the bed. I touched the chain gingerly, wondering how this cold piece of metal could ever be used in a loving way.
“Are you thinking about him?” He whispered in my ear as his right hand grabbed my breast.
“No.” I shook my head slightly and gasped as he pushed me back onto the bed.
    “Good. This is about us.”
“Why did he—” I started and he cut me off his with his lips.
“Now is not the time for talking. Now is the time for loving. Now is the time for me to show you what it’s like to experience ecstasy in every fiber of your being.”
“What are you going to do?”
“What am I not allowed to do?” His voice was hoarse.
    “Why?”
“Because that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”
“I can’t sleep with you.” I shook my head. “It wouldn’t be right.”
    “Why not?”
“I, I...” I looked away from him and blushed. “I already slept with Grant.”
“So you want to be with Grant?” His voice was a question.
“No.” I shook my head and then paused. “I mean, I don’t know.” I shivered as he ran his fingers across my stomach.
“What are you thinking about right now?” He bent down and kissed my stomach.
“I’m thinking this is absolutely crazy. I’m thinking I need to leave.” I held my breath as his tongue played in my belly button and he kissed my stomach.
“Grant thinks you wanted to have a threesome.” He said softly as his tongue licked down my stomach and stopped at the top of the pants he’d given me to wear earlier.
“No, of course not.” I shook my head. “I don’t want that.” Just because I’d thought that they’d wanted it didn’t mean I did. No, not at all. Especially now that I was pretty sure Grant was a psycho. Now, I couldn’t lie to myself about Tyler. I wanted him badly.
“Good.” He nodded. “That’s not what I want either.”
“What do you want?” I looked into his eyes and searched for an answer.
“It’s not about what I want.” He rolled away from me and stood up.
“Where are you going?” I watched as he walked to the closet and opened it. My heart raced as I worried he would see the letters I’d put back. However, he didn’t even look at the top shelf. Instead, he pulled out some knee-high stockings, a black bra, some black panties, a pair of black heels and a lace piece of material.
“I want you to put these on.” He handed them to me. “And put the lace over your face.”
    “Over my face?”
“I want you to cover your eyes.” He nodded, a smirk on his face. “I want to make sure you can’t see.”
“Why?” I frowned and sat up, brushing my hair away from my face as I stared at him.
    “This is a test.”
    “A test?”
“A test to see who you really want.”
“What?” I frowned. “And stop looking at me like that.”
    “Like what?”
“Like you can see into my soul.”
    “Oh, but I can Evie.”
“No you can’t.” I bit my lower lip nervously as I touched the delicate garments he had handed me. “And I don’t understand why you want me to wear these items.”
“I already told you.” He laughed. “It’s a test. You’re going to put these items on and you’re going to lie on the floor with your legs in the air and wait.”
    “Wait for what?”
“You’ll know when I’m ready for you.”
“You just want me to lie there and wait.”
    “I want you to lie
