there…that unexplainable
tie that bound a D’Aire to their keeper. The bond wasn’t something that could
be put into words. As the keeper of his heart, Morgan had instantly become the
most significant, vital person in his life. She was now the keeper of his
heart, body and soul, and he would find a way to claim hers in return.
She was absolute perfection, and he was
in awe of her beauty.
Her waist was slim, and she had full
breasts that couldn’t be hidden beneath the drab uniform jacket she wore. Just
thinking about touching her made his cock grow hard as rock. It was a strange
feeling for him, since he had never experienced feeling desire for a female
before. In all the years he had been alone, he had never wanted to share his
body with another. Some of his kind had tried having sex before they were
bonded, but that was something Orion had wanted only with his keeper.
Finally, he truly understood why humans
were so emotional. Unable to stay away, he walked forward slowly, needing to be
near Morgan. He could feel that connection between them growing stronger as he
got closer to her. It was a wonder that he had enough self-control to hold back
from rushing, though, he didn’t want to frighten her. Instead, he would take
things slow, court her like she deserved.
He’d been searching his entire life for
her, and now that he’d found her, he could hardly believe she was real. She
didn’t know him, but he would prove himself to her. He had a lifetime to devote
himself to her, to fulfill her every wish and dream. They were destined for one
another. Fated to share a love that would stand the test of time. It would be a
bond that nothing could break, that no one could come between.
In a few moments, both of their lives
would change forever.
Because after he claimed her, he would
never let her go.
CHAPTER THREE
Morgan froze as someone called out to
her.
Actually, the sound of her name had
been more like a low, throaty purr, and it immediately sent her pulse racing.
She turned her head to see a D’Aire male walking toward her. As a liaison
officer, she had come in contact with many D’Aire during the course of her
duties, but there was something special about this male.
As he got closer, recognition struck.
When she had been stationed in the Capital back on Earth, she’d never had the
opportunity to work with Ambassador D’Sil. However, that didn’t mean she wasn’t
aware with who he was. He was a popular and active D’Aire Ambassador that
visited Earth often, and he had many powerful friends.
All of the D’Aire were attractive, with
beautiful faces, and hard, sculpted muscles, but Morgan found it difficult to
breathe as she stared at Ambassador D’Sil. There was something about him in
particular that captivated her.
His long, white hair fell loose around
his handsome face. He had a strong jaw, high cheek bones and perfectly shaped
lips. His iridescent blue eyes were locked on her, and his gaze made her shiver
with awareness. The simple, white tunic and matching pants he wore added to his
angelic appearance, but she knew that despite his saintly appearance, he was a
warrior, through and through.
Watching him, it was impossible not to
notice how gracefully his body moved, almost as if he were gliding instead of
walking. The D’Aire race had been nicknamed angels by humans, and Morgan
had been privileged to witness several of them with their magnificent wings released
in the past. Those wings added another foot to their already impressive height
since all of them stood around seven feet tall.
Stars, he was a scorcher. Hot enough to
make her damn glad she wore underwear today since she could feel herself
growing damp just by looking at him.
Holy nova, had she suddenly lost her
mind?
What in the worlds was wrong with her? She
shouldn’t be thinking about things that would surely get her into trouble, and
she definitely needed to stop looking at him as if she wanted to gobble him up
in big, greedy
