the offer will always be back on the table.”
Chapter 9
She sighs as she leans back into the headrest of her car after parking it in her driveway.
She practically had to beg on her knees for her old job back and on top of that the manager has placed her back on probation making for a massive pay cut and fewer hours. But at least she has her dignity.
Olivia steps out of her car, her feet aching as she walks up her front steps. She pulls the mail out of her mail box as she inserts and twists her key inside of the lock before pushing her heavy front door open.
She steps inside of her house, kicking off her flats before walking towards the kitchen, sighing in bliss as her warm feet cool down on her hardwood floors.
She grunts as she lets herself fall onto a kitchen chair as she begins to finger through her mail.
“Bills, bills, bills…” She says to herself, resting her elbow on the table and her cheek in her palm as she tosses the envelopes towards the center of the table. “I’m not even going to open them. Don’t have enough to pay ‘em anyway.”
She swallows hard, feeling the lump in her throat grow as her anxiety rises.
“I don’t know how much longer this can go on.” She whispers to herself, looking around the kitchen. “I might have to sell the house grandma left me…”
She wipes her welling eyes as she stands up from her chair and makes her way over to the sink to wash the dishes she left in the sink from this morning as she was rushing to get to work.
She runs the hot water, plugging the sink as she grabs the bottle of dish soap, dropping a few drops of the yellow slime into the water.
Olivia sighs as she leans over onto the counter ledge as she watches the bubbles foam. She runs her fingers through the suds before running them under the water to rinse off the soap before turning the tap back off.
“Like I want to do more dishes…” She whispers to herself, reaching for the tea towel she has handing on the handle of the stove and wiping her fingers on it.
She walks back over to the table, sitting back down in her chair before grabbing her bills again.
“I would really like that seventy-five thousand dollar salary right about now.” She says to herself as she fans the bills and waves them by her face. “That’s more money in a year than I’ve probably ever seen in my life.”
She leans back in her chair, placing the bills on the table.
“And it’s just sex, right?” She says to herself. “What good is being a virgin doing me? At least I can get paid for it…”
She closes her eyes, sighing out.
“What a slimy prick, though.” She whispers. “Honestly, did he really think I would jump at the chance to become his fuck girl? But so much money…”
She opens her eyes back up, rubbing them as she stands up from her chair.
Olivia walks out of the kitchen, making her way over to her stair case before climbing up the stairs to her bedroom.
She enters her room, before lazily letting herself fall over onto her bed. She grabs the edge of her quilt, wrapping herself around in it, her face flushing as she tries to bury it in her pillow.
“And honestly, maybe it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to get all this sexual frustration out…” She says to herself.
She sighs, rolling onto her back as she gazes at the ceiling before closing her eyes and gulping hard.
“Alright.” She says. “I’ll do it.”
Chapter 10
Olivia nervous bounces her leg as she sits in her car at the back of the parking lot, taking deep breaths as she stares ahead to the window covered building.
She pulls down her car’s driver side mirror, as she smooths her fingers over her blonde bun, taming all her fly away hairs before flipping the mirror back up.
She grabs the handle of her door, pushing it open as she slides out of her car.
