and what I
am. But this isn’t Seattle or New York. This is a place where people skin their own kills. You make one dumb move and you freeze to death in the wilderness or get eaten by a bear.”
“And gay men can’t chop wood or skin a moose? Please!” Justin knew Alaska was
conservative, but hiding wouldn’t help change things.
“It’s about image, not skills. My dad, brothers and I have a traditional family. No shifters.
No tattoo artists.” Danny finished off his coffee and took his plate to the sink. “I appreciate it, I do. You’re right. I should be out. I want to be myself, but with dad sick and my brother out of work—they have real problems. Now is not the time to steal the spotlight.”
Justin walked over. “There will always be real problems. That’s life. We want to help you deal with it. Support. Sex. Whatever.” He kissed Danny, and the man-hungry human responded instantly.
Brandon joined them, kissing the back of Danny’s neck. “So what would happen if it got
    out?”
    The action paused.
“Not because of us,” Brandon added. “But just ‘if’. What if a college friend visited and let it slip? You know. Not us.”
Danny shrugged. “That depends. If you accidentally sent that picture of me, it was
college. Frat hazing. Drunken party. Denial is powerful; people will believe it was just a phase.”
“But if someone came to visit and swore they’d dated you?” Justin pressed the issue.
Danny shook his head. “I’d say the guy was obsessed with me, and he’s stalking me.”
A pulsing ringtone came from the bedroom, and Danny headed for it. “You didn’t send
    that. Did you?”
“No!” Justin wanted trust, but clearly, Danny didn’t trust anyone with his secret. He had his lies ready to cover his gay butt.
    “Now what?” Brandon asked Justin.

Brandon knew himself well. Inking people was his gift. Shifting was his nature. Men
were his passion. Brains…well, his sister got the brains. This was Justin’s crusade. The packs worried about hunting, but it had always existed and always would in Alaska.
Justin cleaned up the dishes. “He’s so loyal to his family. With that brother out of work, Danny’s under a lot of pressure to help out.”
“So we pack up and leave?” Brandon felt sorry for Danny. “He needs help.”
“We need help, as well. They’ll be hunting us,” Justin whispered.
“I know. But I think we can trust him. We already shared our shifter secrets. Danny put it together that your dad was killed by a hunter. There’s nothing shocking about your anti-wolf hunting position, especially with the obvious advantage of a helicopter.”
Justin frowned. “He’ll think we’re using him.”
“That’s what blackmail is. You made the plan. The sex is just for fun.”
“I didn’t think he’d be so wounded. And so into it all.”
Brandon smiled. “You’ve still got a crush on him.” He kissed Justin.
Justin paced. “No, not a crush. He’s hot. He’s into us. We could’ve had families like his.”
“My family was okay. My sister outted me when she saw me kissing you. Not exactly a
parade.” Brandon remembered the feeling of not knowing exactly how they’d react. Dad had been uncomfortable but got over it. Mom had wanted to protect him from the world. Granny still had no clue.
“The longer he waits, the harder it’ll be.” Justin sighed. “I was lucky. Mom just loved
anything I did. I’m all she has.”
“So relax on the plan, and enjoy a little more fun. Danny sure as hell needs the release.
And it is a full Wolf Moon so we’ll be twitching for a couple more days.” Brandon pulled Justin in and kissed him slowly.
Justin responded, and his cock did as well. Brandon got lost in the moment.
Danny walked back in. “Sorry. Didn’t mean to interrupt. It was work.”
Brandon pulled away and suppressed a growl. “Come here.”
    “Everything okay?” Justin asked.
“No big deal. Schedule change. I get tomorrow off,
