broke the kiss, grey eyes blazing darkly and making her quiver all the more.
Just then Tristan appeared with the drinks, and Rebecca broke away feeling guilty, but Tristan was smiling hugely. Blushing, she glanced down at the glass he held out and told him nervously that she wasn’t sure she should have anything more to drink.
“Oh, this cocktail’s harmless. Nothing alcoholic so it’s fine. Just something cool and relaxing.”
And lord knew she needed cooling down, not to mention relaxing from the coil of hot-wired lust tightening at her pussy, thought Rebecca as she finally smiled and took the drink, saying, “Thank you. I think I’ll brave it.”
“Good girl,” Tristan said, his grin teasing. There was something about the way they smiled that tugged at her emotions. Made her long to trust them, yet knowing she should run as far as she could from their double dose of temptation. So why was she still here?
Rebecca finally took a sip from her glass and found the taste refreshing; some mint, club soda and other ingredients she couldn’t describe, over crushed ice. Then she went on to explore more of the house with them even as she felt secretly thrown by Alec’s kiss. Brief, yet searing. And when Tristan had appeared, he hadn’t looked in the least bit jealous. If anything he’d seemed pleased.
She didn’t understand how any of this worked out. However, they seemed accustomed to the situation; where they both desired the same woman. And were probably willing to share.
Rebecca felt a sudden pang of jealousy as she thought of the other women they must have shared in the past. And in the next moment, asked herself if it was what she really wanted. If she could really succumb to such a dangerous thrill of bedding two brothers at the same time.
Wasn’t that why they brought her here, she mused? It certainly wasn’t just for the chance to take her round her beautiful home. Knowing what they must have in store for her brought a new kind of tension to the atmosphere, and every step she took made her moist with anticipation and yes, the awareness of danger.
Concealing an inner shudder, Rebecca stalled at the door that the brothers seemed to have missed as they walked her past it. “What about in here?” she asked curiously.
Tristan paused, and looked back just as Alec also glanced behind him. They shared a look she couldn’t read, and then Tristan came over and took her wrist. “Maybe next time. We’ve been doing some redecorating and that room isn’t quite finished yet.”
“Ah,” she said though she sensed there was more to it than that. But whatever lay behind the closed door, Rebecca let her curiosity subside and went on to discover more of their beautiful home. She’d expected to be shown inside their bedrooms, but to her inner relief she simply got to stand at the open doorway and look in without being asked inside. She did note that their separate rooms were neat, pristine in decor and very much suited to their personalities.
She was getting to know more about them just by looking round their home. Were they in some way trying to set her mind at ease? Rebecca had no way to be sure of their agenda. Until they brought her to the third bedroom.
The softer shades and furnishings told her instinctively that it was for a female. As she walked in looking round in admiration at the plush surroundings, Alec confirmed her suspicions when he said, “If you’ll spend the night with us, this would be your room.”
His words made her shiver inside, but she didn’t turn around, merely saying mildly, “It’s certainly nice and comfy. I’m sure the last woman who had the privilege must have found it a lovely room as well.”
Rebecca knew it was just her inner green-eyed monster clawing out. She hated to think of them with anyone else, and that worried her. How had they so easily got through her shell, and in just a few hours?
To her surprise, neither brother seemed offended by her remark.
