he was going to try to leave it alone and never bring it up again. He picked Marci up from his in-laws’ house so they could spend the rest of the weekend together.
Later that evening, around 10 p.m., his cellular phone rang. Since it was downstairs he decided to let the voicemail answer it. He knew Monica would call the house line.
After about ten minutes, the house phone starting ringing. Ken answered it without looking at the caller id because he assumed it was his wife.
    “Hello,” said Ken.
To his surprise, Susan was on the other end.
“Hi Ken, I hate to call you at home but you didn’t answer your cell phone.”
He was speechless, mainly because she had called his home phone after he specifically asked her to delete the number.
“Susan, I thought you removed my home number from your telephone,” said Ken.
“I meant to but never got around to it. Anyway, I was calling to see if you want to meet for drinks tonight,” she said.
“That’s impossible. I picked up my daughter from her grandparents and she’s in bed asleep,” he said.
“Why did you pick her up so early? You know this is our last evening to have some fun before your wife returns,” Susan retorted.
He was a bit confused because she had told him she had other plans. “I thought you said you had plans tonight,” he said.
“I did but I decided to cancel them so I could be with you. I’ll tell you what. Since you can’t leave home then maybe I can come to your house for a quick drink,” replied Susan.
“That is not a good idea,” he said quickly.
“I’m only coming for a drink and nothing more.”
“Okay, but just one drink.” Ken gave her directions to his house.
When Susan arrived he escorted her to the den.
“You look good. Have a seat and make yourself comfortable while I fix us a drink,” he told her.
“You have a lovely home. Any woman would love to live here,” she said.
They sat and talked for about two hours when he heard a noise from upstairs. As he headed up the stairs he saw Marci coming out of her room.
“Daddy, I had a bad dream,” said Marci.
“That’s okay, baby, Daddy’s here. Let’s get you back in bed,” said Ken nervously.
“Can you stay with me until I fall back to sleep? Please Daddy,” asked Marci.
“I’ll stay for a few minutes but I need for you to be a big girl and go back to sleep without me,” he said.
After putting her back in bed, he went back into the den. Susan was sitting on the couch in a seductive position. He noticed she was not wearing any underwear.
Before he could stop her, she jumped up, unzipped his pants and sat on top of him.
“I can’t do this, not here. We need to stop in case Marci wakes up again,” said Ken.
“Don’t worry, baby, I’ll be finished soon,” replied Susan.
“You’re something else. You get me so excited,” said Ken, pulling her closer.
When they finished he told her it was getting late and he thought it best that she leave. She agreed and kissed him goodbye.
Part of Ken felt ashamed for bringing her to his house and part of him felt excited. He had never met anyone like her before. He found himself doing things he normally would not do. Whenever he and Susan were together he felt like a new man. She awakened him sexually in ways he had never experienced before. She made him feel alive.
The next evening Monica returned from her vacation. Ken thought he would surprise her by taking her and Marci out to dinner. After dinner, they put Marci to bed and they were able to spend some time together.
They shared a very intimate and enjoyable night. She thanked him for the wonderful Mother’s Day weekend as she turned out the light.

The next few weeks were hectic for Ken at work. He had a few big projects he had to work on that required him to work late nights.
Susan called a few times and each time he spoke with her he could only talk for a few minutes. She asked what she had done that caused him to dismiss her every time she
