minutes after that, they had collected the bag of goodies Jes had brought with her. They decided to get some business done first, then get back to it again later after some fun . And later they would do some perusing though the numerous magazines Jes had brought them to look over and get ideas.
“Here, I brought you this,” Jes said handing Ana a magazine. “This has some of the most amazing dresses you could ever dream of. The designers are still new and unknown, but if you prefer a known designer, I have,” she said and bent down to her bag, “these. Maggie Sottero, Vera Wang, Alexander McQueen, Ines di Santo, Carolina Herrera, Marchesa and many more. All I ask is you take good care of them and bring them back.”
“Wow,” Ana said as the books piled on. “This is even more overwhelming.”
Jes laughed. “All you need to do is find a designer whose work you like an d then find something you like. With the famous designers it would be next to impossible to have anything done in less than six to twelve months, depending on the design too. But with the right incentive you could have a dress made faster than humanly possible.”
    Ana frowned.
“I know you still haven’t decided on a date, yet. But keep that in mind as you choose a designer to work with. They are usually booked months in advance. And if you are getting married during peak season…”
    Ana groaned.
“Ana,” Kelly said grabbing her attention. “We’ll all help by each taking a book and browsing through for nice gowns. But in the meantime what about your colors, flowers, the cake and all that other good stuff?”
“Full disclosure. I don’t mean to overwhelm you, but I need to give you all the information, good and bad, then have you make your choice. I’d hate for you to come back to me during or after the wedding and ask why I didn’t give you some important information that could have swayed you in a different direction.
“So,” Jes continued. “Cakes are kind of similar to dresses. You could go by a famous cake designer or find something you like and describe to a local wedding cake bakery and they can make it for you. There are many great wedding cake shops around. I have a few I usually work with who haven’t let me down so far. If you like I can take you around one day.”
She nodded her head. “What else, Jes?” Ana asked. “You might as well get it over with.
“Flowers aren’t that big a deal. Just tell me which ones you like and I’ll work with a florist on those for you. But,” she said and held a finger up. “Remember if you choose flowers when it’s not their season, they might have to be imported. That means the price can fluctuate depending on where they have to be imported from.”
“Well, that certainly makes sense, “Evelyn piped up. She was guzzling the cold drinks like someone who had gone without for days.
“Careful there Evelyn,” Kelly said. She took her drink and sniffed it, making sure it wasn’t spiked.
“The size of the wedding party will decide the venue you end up choosing, obviously. Then we’ll need to know if we need to hire a tent, chairs and all the stuff that comes with that, but don’t worry about any of the hiring stuff. I’ll take care of that. The tablecloths and centerpieces will obviously need to go with your colors. Have you decided yet?” Jes asked.
“I have three colors I’m tossing around. I’ll let you know once I make up my mind.”
“Okay. I’m assuming you want the men to wear tuxedos? Which isn’t that much of a problem for them except for the shirts if you want them to somehow match or coordinate with the bridesmaid’s dresses. And back to the tuxedos. I know most men will have a tuxedo, but for the groomsmen, I’ll advice you to have them hire or buy new ones at the same shop,” Jes warned her. “Why? Because the shades are never the same. And when they s tand together it’s,” she said and shook her head with a grimace. “They can be slightly
