stop knocking.
I finally opened the door and for a moment, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was Xavier. He was real and standing right in front of me.
“Xavier… you are real!” I said as I hugged him tightly and wrapped my arms around his chest. I could inhale his mesmerizing musk that turned me on.
“Of course, I am real, Claire. What did you think? You thought that it was all a dream?” he asked me as he touched my face and felt blessed to be with me.
“I don’t know, Xavier. It was too good to be true. I tried to find something about your planet but I couldn’t,” I tried to explain.
“You were not able to find a thing about Xenast because humans have no knowledge about it, Claire. Just because you don’t know about something, it doesn’t mean that it has no existence. That day was real, Claire. We both were in love with each other – we still are. You saved me that day, Claire, in every possible way a person can be saved. You saved me from the darkness. I started to find an abandoned planet like ours in order to transfer my people and I finally did.
It was an empty planet that only had a few microorganism and other essential things that we need to survive. After when we were able to create our civilization once again from the scratch, I realized that my mission was accomplished. I was set free by my people and I came to you. I had to. You were the only one that stayed in my mind all this time and inspired me to find my happy ending. You are my happy ending, Claire,” as Xavier said those words, I almost had tears in my eyes.
I tried hard, but forgetting someone like him was certainly impossible. I felt extremely fortunate at that moment to have Xavier back in my life. He crossed millions of stars and several galaxies to be with me. Sometimes, the love of our life comes in the most unexpected ways and it was certainly true for me.
I invited Xavier to my house and my life as I made sure that he would have a pleasant stay on Earth.
“Welcome home, love!” I said and he stepped in and helped me believe that I could also have my happy ending. Everyone can – we just need to fight a little in order to get our share of happiness sometimes.
I wrapped my arms around him and seized the moment with just the perfect kiss. Once again, I could taste his presence in me and that made me feel complete. The missing piece of my puzzle that I was finding for the last one year was no longer lost. It was there right in front of me and wrapped around in my arms. I was with him and that is exactly where I belonged.
