any means of the word but she wasn’t exactly skinny either. But….it would have to do. Grabbing her bag, she headed to the lifts. The doors opened a few seconds later, and wouldn’t you know it…Chad stood at the back, looking as surprised as she was.
Kendra moved inside and turned her back to him. She could hear him shuffle behind her but she refused to give in and look. As the doors opened to the Ground floor, she moved out of them like a bull on speed. He grabbed onto her wrist and wheeled her back to him.
She managed to avoid colliding with his body but that didn’t stop him looking her up and down as if he could devour her whole. “You look amazing.”
    “Thanks.”
“Look,” he said, moving closer. So close that she could smell his fading cologne. “I didn’t know what they would do. I just knew I couldn’t work efficiently with you as my assistant. Please understand that.”
“You don’t need to worry about me distracting you for long.”
With that, she moved away from him and headed for the bar. Screw Chad and his smoky hazel eyes. Screw him to hell.

Chad looked through the personnel file of everyone in the office. No one stood out from first glance. Tamara’s file hadn’t surprised him. The kid just wasn’t handling the pressure of being an assistant too well but he had to give her kudos for trying. The workers of that office did their jobs well, so why was the company losing money? He flipped Helena’s profile up on his screen and read. She had been nothing but nice but he didn’t really see her purpose. They had a receptionist and an assistant. The workers did their own thing and ordered their own stationery. What did Helena do all day?
After finding nothing sinister, he closed his laptop and stood up to look out over the city from his window. The office was empty. He had been here all night trying to figure out how to bring it back to its glory. He heard the alarm code beep off just as the sun came up to settle over the horizon. Odd, it wasn’t an auto timed alarm, so that must mean someone was in the office already.
Opening his door, he looked out to see long legs walking toward the reception area. Dear God. Kendra was wearing a tight little skirt with pantyhose with that little black line down the centre of the back of her legs. Gone were the sensible heels and in lieu of them were sky high red patent stilettos. Her hair hung down around her shoulders in bouncy waves.
His cock pressed against his pants, making a tent of them.
    “Kendra.”
She stopped on her way to the reception desk and turned to him, surprised. Her face was painted like that of a…well like that of Tamara. Bright red lips to match her shoes, and smoky eyeshadow with thick black eyeliner to bring the colour out in her eyes.
    “Come here, please.”
    “But-“
    “The phones can wait.”
She seemed to hesitate for a moment before giving in and coming toward him. She wasn’t walking, no, she was purposely sashaying like the tempting little minx she was.
    Heaven help him.
He moved back into his office and let her walk in before closing the door. “Sit on the conference table.”
    Kendra frowned. “What?”
    “You heard me.”
She put her bag down on the ground and moved tentatively toward the table. The confident sashay gone. Kendra pushed up onto the table’s edge and looked over at him.
    “Open your legs.”
He wasn’t even trying to hide his raging hard on, instead he was registering every movement of her body. She did as he commanded, realising what he wanted. Her confidence was back as she slowly revealed red lace panties under her skirt.
    “Like what you see?”
Chad moved toward her. “I wanted you before, Kendra, but you're obviously trying to provoke me into action. You win.”
He pushed her gently back so she was laying back on the table, her legs over the side. Moving the office chairs to either side of her legs, he put a foot on the handle of one and the other foot the second chair.
