uncomfortable trying something like that when I’d enjoyed myself so much.
“We’ve got a huge place here,” Rance added. “It’s not exactly a palace, but it’s big enough for the five of us, I think, if you decided to stay with us.”
    “For how long?”
He shrugged. “As long was you like.”
I looked around at the others. “Stay here. Live with … all of you?”
    “As our princess.”
I couldn’t help but smile. “You’re not serious. This is just part of the game, right?”
Rance smiled. “It is a game--one we hope you enjoyed as much as we did, but the offer is dead serious.
We have searched for someone like you for a long time, someone who pleased us all, who could handle us all. We’ll gladly take care of you. Stay as long as you like. Go when you feel you’re ready to move on. But, if you decide to stay, it’ll have to be with the understanding that we are your harem.”
I laughed. It was crazy, of course, but then I could certainly see why they might have trouble finding anyone willing, or able, to keep up with so many randy guys.
    Their faces fell.
I threw my arms around Rance and kissed him, then moved to the others, kissing each of them.
    They looked at me questioningly.
“I think I’ll take you up on both offers. I can’t just stay here. I need to work, so I’d definitely like the job at the company.” Experience always counted for as much or more than college—and an office job beat the hell out of waitress work! Anyway, they were bound to grow tired of the game eventually. I wanted something to fall back on. But, in the mean time. “And, I’ll be happy to stay as dungeon mistress. Does that mean I get to hold the whip part of the time?”
Rance laughed, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. “I can’t speak for the others , but I can get off on being the submissive once in a while.”
    “Who’ll be first?” Trey demanded.
I laughed. “I think I’m done in at the moment. Give me a few days and we’ll all take a trip down to the dungeon again.”
They grinned but bowed their heads. “As you wish, Princess Delilah,” they said in unison.
I laid back against the pillows, tugging Trey and Rance down with me. “For now, I’d like a little cuddling,” I murmured sleepily. “Nick and Jerico can sleep with me tomorrow.”
As I drifted off in a haze of happiness I realized the whole world looked a lot brighter and full of promise.
