she would take whatever she could get. As she rested her head against his chest, she could feel his heart beating frantically
“Andrea, you do know that I love you, don’t you?” John said softly.
She didn’t answer at first because she was thoroughly stunned. Also, she didn’t know exactly what she should say because she had actually had doubts that he did love her romantically any longer.
“I suppose so,” she finally managed to say. “But you haven’t shown any romantic interest in me in years so I suppose that I have to admit to wondering.”
“I never meant for you to feel that way,” he said. “It’s just that between our busy schedules, it became more difficult for us to find the time to be romantic. Finally, I was starting to feel that you weren’t exactly interested anymore. I didn’t want you to feel obligated to do something you didn’t want to do.”
“Are you serious?” Andrea asked, astounded. “I’ve never stopped wanting you.”
Sitting up so that she could look him directly in the eyes, she let him know that she was still very much interested . John looked back at her and leaned down to kiss her. As it had been such a long time, this was a kiss that caught fire instantly and spread wildly. In spite of the temperature, they began shedding their clothes underneath the blankets. Their kiss turned into much more as each of them used their hands, mouths and tongues to explore and become reacquainted with what they had denied themselves for so long.
John had not lost his touch. He remembered to kiss Andrea’s neck in a certain spot as well as gently suck her earlobes as he used his thumbs to tease her nipples. Andrea touched John’s body like a starving woman searching for sustenance . She moved her fingers over his chest and down his stomach. Her hand found him hard and waiting for her. It was just as she remembered and it sent a thrill of desire and excitement through her body.
John’s hand moved from Andrea’s breasts to her pleasure core at the center of her upper thighs. He moved his fingers around her wetness and located her throbbing stiffness that begged attention. It was all too much, though. Andrea wouldn’t wait for what she wanted. Eagerly, she climbed on top of her husband and straddled him. Taking his engorged member in her hand, she positioned it so that she impaled herself upon it. Her intimate muscles contracted around him instantly. Looking down into his eyes, she started to move up and down on him.
It seemed as if only seconds passed before they both succumbed to their ecstasy. Those waves continue d to roll for a few moments , which was fine with the two of them. They savored the strange sensations and found that they had generated their own heat, at least momentarily, as rivulets of sweat ran down their bodies.
“Damn, woman,” John exclaimed. “Whe re was that hiding all this time ?”
“I’ve always known how to be … I just didn’t think that you wanted to see that side of me.” Andrea giggled , feeling slightly ashamed for a split-second .
“Oh, I definitely want to see that side of you as often as possible ,” John replied. “ We’re not going to ever let ourselves get so off-track again. ”
The couple continued to catch their breath and began to get dressed again under the covers, now beginning to realize that it was still damn cold in the cabin.
“You know,” John said after a few moments. “ I think we should begin planni ng a second honeymoon. ”
“Really? I can’t think of a better idea!” Andrea squealed.
They spent the next 24 hours getting reacquainted , several times, and were having so much fun that they actually felt kind of sad when the snow plow rescue d them . As it turned out, the plow arrived just as the last of their firewood died down.
Later on they would joke that they weren’t worried too much about being rescued because they had their own special method of generating heat.
