    Anya said, "It sort of scares me a little, you know . "
    "Having a baby?"
    "No, well, yes . But I've done a lot of reading and I know that my body is going to change . "
    His hand stilled and she felt her body tighten .
    "Do you think I love you because of your body?"
    "No, but you don't know how you'll feel to have a rapidly expanding wife while you are surrounded by drop dead gorgeous women all perfectly happy to take my place . "
    He tilted her chin up, forcing her to meet his eyes and said, "I know I was a stupid asshole, hungry for revenge . But while I hope I've more than proven that I adore your body, what I love beyond measure is you . The way you move through the world with a ready smile and a loving heart . "
    He dropped kisses on her forehead and said, "Will your body change and grow? Of course . You are granting us a precious gift, nurturing our child . "
    He stroked her hips and belly and said, "You might get stretch marks and when I see them, I'll remember this moment right now . When you told me you were pregnant and we're having a baby . " He let his hands wander over Anya's body, hoping she could feel his words as well as hear them . "I will spend every minute of the rest of my life proving to you over and over again how life and the march of time will change our bodies, but I will still love you and absolutely adore you . Do you understand?"
    "Oh, Leo, you have a silver tongue . I love you . "
    "I love you . And I'm still thinking one hundred thousand is a perfectly lovely number for a family . "
    "It's not that silver . "
    "One thousand?"
    "Three . I'd be willing to consider three . "
    "Like your family?"
    "It's a good number . "
    "Then it's perfect . Now, speaking of silver tongues ... " Leo trailed off as he kissed his way down Anya's shoulder, determined to make the most of the night .
