children or none at all.”
“Bray…”
“I’m serious….” She crossed her arms, took a deep breath as the
knowledge of their childless life settled in.
“I know...” His arms fell around her. “How about, we keep trying the
old fashioned way?” His lips nibbled on her ear.
Her grin was half hearted, but she could never resist his temptation.
“Deal.”
“I have to check the dome but the moment I’m home tonight I’m going
to ravish you, woman!” His tone was goofy, and she giggled.
“I really love you.” She pressed her lips to his, dominated the kiss that
quickly brought them both to a fever. He pulled away just as her hands reached
his loincloth.
With a roll of her eyes, she adjusted her dress so the blades hidden
beneath wouldn’t harm and laid back, her red and brown wings tucked safely
beneath.

Flance wanted nothing more than to open her legs and drive them both
from thinking. Of course, when his hot, fairy warrior woman had to wait and
stew in lust, it was even better. When Bray wanted an orgasm, she got an
orgasm, even if she pushed him down and did all the work herself.
He extended his brown and orange wings. They were a close match to
her hair and the reason he first pursued her. How many fairies could say their
mate matched? He grinned as he lifted into the air, glanced back to watch her
shift her cloths and play with her nipples. This better be a fast check, but it
would give him enough time to think on things.
She didn’t want a child without him and honestly, he didn’t want one
without her. So, there would be no babies in their family. That would be okay,
wouldn’t it? They’d just love each other more. Maybe tame a few fireflies and
call them pets. He grinned; she hated those buggers more than anything in the
world. They constantly plagued her during battle.
He passed the dome barrier and forgot about everything but safety.
Flance placed his hand on the hilt of his sword and scanned the area. He nearly
jumped out of his loincloth when a shadow shifted and Whisper’s blue hair
peaked through the darkness. “Sweet Goddess…”
His cruel laughter irritated the hell out of everyone that heard it which
wasn’t saying much; most of those beings were dead. It was low, raspy and
distinctly evil sounding. “Don’t you have better things to do than sneak around
in the dark?” Flance shoved his blade back into place. “Or better yet, you
patrol because I have better things to do.”
“Fine…” With that single word, the fairy blended with the shadows
once more.
The fairy made no sound, barely spoke a word and Bray kept insisting
he was sweet. That man gave him the shivers, but he did say he would patrol.
Flance smiled. “Thanks…” He stepped under the willow tree and glanced
down at the dome. Flance couldn’t see his woman on the sunflower but knew
she’d be there. Ready for ravishment, ready to try for their child, and he’d keep
trying until she was happy. When it came down to life, she was the most
important thing, his Bray. He dove down and heard her giggle of delight even
from the sky.

Who said too much of a good thing was bad? Brook smiled and
stretched sore muscles in sheer joy. Last night was more than amazing. She
wanted every night to play out so naughty and inventive. She opened her eyes
as the sweetest breeze rushed over her naked body. The doors to the balcony
were wide open, the wind incredible as she lay on the bed. Carrick was
nowhere in sight.
“He asked me to present you with a gift.”
Wick’s voice startled the hell out of her. She jumped up and covered
her body, or tried too. Where was a blanket or even a sheet when she needed
it? Did he just say a gift? “From Carrick?”
“Yes, and if you’ll permit me…” He moved closer, his hands touched
her knees and pressed them apart until her core was exposed.
She sat there like a damn log as he parted her legs and slid his hands up
her
