ripped his head off,” Alexander said.
“Yes, I know you do, and I feel the same. What a brave little pet she is, too, to let us do that to her when her last experience was so bloody awful. That leads me to believe that she has feelings for us, and no way is she leaving us now, until we find out if she does and if we have a future together.”
Ruari looked delighted. Alexander knew his brother was as taken with Fiona as he was, and he was not going to let anything or anyone get in the way of their relationship with this lovely young woman. He heard Ruari following as he walked across the room and tapped on the bathroom door, then went in.
“Fiona! Here’s what’s going to happen.” Alexander was going to have no nonsense. This was going to be sorted out.
“You are going to stay here with us, so Emma will not be involved. Our uncle has lots of contacts, and we will find and sort out this arsehole once and for all. You will be safe here, and you won’t go anywhere without one of us. That man is a bully, and a coward, and he won’t want to take on another man. He is only fit for beating women. We will only let you out to take you to the club until we get it sorted. We can and we will protect you. When our uncle’s wedding is over we intend to return to the Highlands, but I’m sure it will have been sorted out before then. You can’t keep on running forever. You have to stop sometime, and this is as good a time as any.”
Chapter Eight
Fiona protested shrilly and argued that Gordon would find her and kill them, then beat her, but she was no match for them and their logic, and really what they said made sense. She was so tired of running, tired of being afraid and always looking over her shoulder. She could never see friends or family, and now she wasn’t alone anymore, at least for a while. If they could keep Emma safe, she could at least try and see how it went. They were right, Gordon was a bully, but he was violent, and she didn’t want them to get hurt. What was she to do? The decision was taken out of her hands. Master Alexander was like a force of nature. He decided something and it happened.
They took her home with them, and she slept between them in the big comfortable bed in their uncle’s guest room and felt safe again, just for the present. The twins were staying in Master Angus’s house until after his wedding to Jane. After that, they would return to the Highlands to their deer farm. Master Alexander had drawn her to him and settled her head on his shoulder. His arm around her felt so good. His brother had cuddled into her back, settling his arm over her and cupping one breast in his large warm palm. He didn’t caress her, just lay with his hand there, as if it belonged there. She felt protected between the two of them and almost thought she was going to be okay. She fell asleep thinking how lucky she was and how different they were from Gordon.
She had the best night’s sleep she had had in ages. For the first time for ages she didn’t have to remain on the alert and ready to run. When she finally awoke, it was to a small tray of tea and chocolate digestive biscuits being offered to her.
“Mind no crumbs in the bed and no chocolate on the sheets.”
Master Ruari laughed. She liked his laugh.
“Then get up, sleepyhead. We have called a conference, and Master Eric is bringing Emma over in an hour with your stuff.”
She ate her biscuits and licked the chocolate off her fingers, glorying in the luxury and enjoying the sight of two pairs of tight white boxers beginning to stretch as the huge cocks they contained reacted to her tongue cleaning all the chocolate off. She couldn’t resist teasing them and taking her time over the whole operation. She flicked her tongue back and forth over her lips, looking at the twins from under her lashes. It had been so long since she had felt relaxed and happy and in a mood to tease. She imagined sucking on other things and moaned her pleasure. The
