for a quiet corner where she could work but was dragged behind him into his office.
“Have a seat.” He directed her to a small bare desk in the corner of his office adjacent to his desk. While he got engrossed in his work, she decided to finish hers up. Within twenty minutes, she was done. She slowly slipped out of his office and went to the bar area.
It might have been early in the afternoon, but there were still people trickling in. The same bartender was there from the other night. She sauntered up to the bar. “Hi.”
“Hey, glad to see you back, darlin’. What can I get you?”
“I need something to do while Dallas is in the office doing paperwork. I just don’t handle boredom well.” She smiled at him. He really was an attractive man—too bad her heart had always belonged to Dallas.
“I’d rather not get fired.” He flashed those brilliant white teeth at her as he filled a mug of beer.
“McCajah, right?” At his nod, she went on. “I don’t want your job. I just need something to do.”
He tossed her a rag. “Wipe off the tables then.”
He was giving her a look as if she thought she was too good to wipe tables. What a load of crap! “Cool.” She took the rag and a bottle of cleaner and got busy.
Dallas wasn’t sure how long he’d been bent over his computer, but when he looked outside his office window it was dark outside. It was then that he noticed that he was also alone in the office. He was going to kill her.
The place was packed as he scanned the floor. Both bartenders and the waitresses were swamped. Great for business, but bad when looking for the honey-haired pain in his ass. He spotted her a couple of minutes later, on the dance floor with two young men grinding on her as they “danced.” It looked more like they were fucking her, and he saw red.
He stormed onto the dance floor and jerked them both off of her. Her beautiful smile faded as he snatched her hand. Before she knew what he was doing, she found herself handcuffed—to him.
“What the hell are you doing, Dallas?” she screamed as she tried to make her voice rise above the band.
“I’m trying to keep you safe, and where do I find you? Out shaking your ass for two boys?” he snarled before he dragged her with him off the dance floor.
“Why does it matter who I’m ‘shaking my ass’ for?” That sounded suspiciously like a growl as he brought her up close to him. Maybe I shouldn’t have said that. Erase, erase, erase, she thought as she breathed in his scent. Damn, he smelled so good.
“You really want to ask me that question after last night?”
“Nothing really happened last night. And even if it had, it was just a chance thing. Nothing we’d be repeating.”
“Want to fucking bet?” He pulled her into his soundproofed office. Her back was against the solid oak door.
“Quit acting like a badass, Dallas. I’m not impressed. And this territorial crap—please, Ry will be glad enough that you’re watching out for me without all the extra acting.”
At first, he really thought she was just trying to piss him off, but as he looked at her, he realized that she really believed those words. He was about to instruct her when his phone went off.
Shit. He was needed in the dungeon. Well, it’s about time that she learned about my fetishes, he thought as he pulled her out of the room and led her through a maze as they made their way down to the dungeon level.
    “Where are we going, Dallas?”
    “The dungeon.”
“You don’t have to be a smartass. You could just tell me the truth!”

Chapter 6

He rolled his eyes. It was easier to show her than it would be to tell her. As he opened the heavy oak and steel door, their senses were assaulted with the cries of subs. The sounds of flesh being struck intermittently called to them. His cock got even harder as he took in the pleasures of the dungeon.
Her eyes were bugging out of her head. What the hell? She’d never known there was a place like this
