She hated me, threw me out, but my lawyer was able to only give her about ten percent, so the rest of the company and everything is mine.  I let her keep the damn house because she wouldn’t shut up about it, but I did buy another one.  I actually wanted to see if you wanted to come live with me,” he offered.

    “No problem darling.  And as for public face, I can say that you’re a secretary and the kid is another’s kid that you’re taking care of.  We can keep it on the down low until we’re both ready to actually go into a new set of life,” he said.
    She agreed with that.  She would still be in the limelight, but with him and she would get to keep the baby.
    “I accept that,” she said.
    “Good. Because I want you to,” he replied.
    She blushed at those words, but before she could do anything, she felt her body gravitate towards him.  The two of them looked at one another, their eyes feeling warm and bright against the other’s face.
    “You know, I’ve loved you for a while Tanya.  You filled the void in my heart, and now that lure is gone, you’re all mine,” he said.
    “Same here.  I’m glad that you took a chance and stayed with me.  It’s by far the best feeling in the world.  Thank you,” she replied.

    The two of them realized that love is what really mattered in the end.  In a way, Tanya was happy she didn’t throw out the baby and her life with him.  Sure, it was going to be hard, but she knew that it was only getting better with time. She wondered as well what might happen to them next, but Tanya was sure that it would be nothing but good things.
