her before even getting to know her. Even worse, that she could still be taken from them with the threat hanging over her.  Fortunately and unfortunately, the dark thoughts doused some of his desire. Worry and anger took their place. Ben had known Erica less than twenty-four hours and already he knew that he would die before he’d let anything happen to her.
“We will protect her,” he heard Leo whisper. Ben lifted his head to find Leo flat on his back with his arm thrown over his face.
“Fuck yeah!” Ben fiercely whispered back. And then Erica pushed back against his crotch, causing an involuntary moan to escape him. “Shut the fuck up,” he threw at Leo, who laughed at his torture
“Hey, I share your pain, brother,” Leo said, still chuckling. “Our little pixie here was pressed up against my cock earlier.”
Just then, Erica moaned. Ben smiled, thinking perhaps she may be having a naughty dream about him and his brother until her moans turned into whimpers. A strangled sob escaped her, and she began to struggle against him. Ben just held her tighter—afraid that she would hurt herself—cooing softly in her ear, “You’re safe, sweetheart. Shhh.”
    “We’ve got you,” Leo added.
Their reassurances did nothing to comfort her it seemed, as she continued to moan and thrash in Ben’s arms. Leo had to help restrain her as well.
“I’ll kill you. I’ll kill you,” she called out like a mantra. A white glow began to emanate from her body, causing a painful jolt to run through Ben’s arms, but he held her steady and gritted his teeth through the pain. He looked over to find Leo in the same predicament. He wondered how many Fae scum he would have to turn to ash before he finally considered his pixie avenged.
Erica let out a piercing scream before she finally jerked awake. Ben and Leo still held on tightly to her.
“What? Where am I?” A few more minutes passed before Erica finally realized where she was. “Oh, gods! I am so sorry,” she said, withdrawing the pain inducing glow. “I can’t believe I did that to you.”
“You did what you had to do,” Ben replied, his voice still raspy and his body still shivering from her burst of energy. He’d have to file away this other ability of hers for later. Interesting, he thought. He had never recalled a Fae having the power to hurt and weaken before, but then again, he never imagined he’d come across a self-healing one either. “What did they do to you, Erica?”
    “Please,” she pleaded. “Don’t make me talk about it now. I … can’t. I need … I need…”
“Tell us,” Ben asked softly, still hugging her from behind. “Tell us what you need and you can have it.”
Erica turned her head to look at him and then turned to look at Leo. “You. I need the both of you. I need my mates.”
Ben’s heart broke at the sound of the desperation in her voice. He still worried that perhaps because of her earlier injuries, making love to her now would be too soon, but he could not deny her anything. And the thought of not claiming his mate right now escalated almost to the point of being painful for both him and his wolf.
He’d be gentle, he thought reassuringly.
He’d definitely at least try to be gentle, he promised himself.
Calm the fuck down, he mentally reprimanded his wolf, who frantically chuffed like a dog in heat.
Then Leo took Erica’s mouth in a passionate kiss, and Ben began to slowly trail kisses from the back of her neck all the way down her spine. He disentangled himself from her beautiful body and sat up on his haunches to admire her naked form. The bed sheets had been thrown off earlier during her struggles. Leo shifted Erica onto her back and trailed his own kisses on her neck, then her collarbone, before his mouth latched on to one of her soft, rose-colored nipples. Erica threw her head back and let out a loud moan.
“Is he making you feel good, baby?”
Her response was unintelligible but Ben was certain she
