intention of getting a straight answer from him. They might be afraid of Akmal but I wasn’t—or so I told myself.
I watched as the Middle Eastern woman fled from the bathroom in tears speaking in her native dialect.
That was another thing—the fact that she couldn’t speak English and she came into my dressing room pulling and tugging at me in order to try and dress me—it was irritating. I didn’t care that she couldn’t speak English, I did care that she was touching me and I didn’t know what she was saying as she did so.
I finished my make-up and dressed in jeans, a button up shirt , and heels.
I didn’t need a maid to dress me. All I wanted to do was to get the hell out of here. This guy was moving into my life way too quickly. He had already had his goons abduct me and if he expected compliance he had the wrong woman. He was too bossy, too controlling, and too damn good in bed. I needed to get out of here and away from him—now.
I had no room in my life for an egotistical woman hater. If he wanted a woman that he could boss around , he could get one of his servants. That subservient attitude was not and never would be me.

    Akmal
Akmal’s secretary called him on his speaker phone and informed him that his assistant was on line one.
He immediately knew by instinct, that it was something to do with Lady.
“What could she have done this quickly?” He muttered—picking up the phone.
“Master, this woman is the devil. She is disrespectful and rude. She has the servant girl in tears.”
Akmal answered “You have to remember that American women are not like Middle Eastern women, this is an independent woman and I’m sure that she felt that she was capable of dressing herself.”
“She needs to be beat,” the assistant muttered.
Akmal’s tone went cold, “You let me take care of that!”
    “Master, I meant no disrespect.”
“Do not ever t ell me what to do with my woman or it will be you that receives a beating!” Akmal growled.

    Lady
I sat on the bed dreading Akmal’s return home which was now upon me. I had gone over and over in my head how to convince Akmal that this was a grave mistake.
Suddenly defiance engulfed me. I mean really, I had been kidnapped against my will.
No matter how I tried to convince myself of Akmal’s lack of power, I couldn’t get past the sinking feeling in my gut. Just how far would this guy go to prove a point? Did they really have sex slaves here in the Middle East? I had heard stories but now the reality of the lifestyle was getting way too close to my world.
I let my mind wander back to the morning before and whether I wanted to admit it or not, that man had played my body like a well tuned inst rument. I shook the thought off thinking that it was probably just that stupid love potion that he had concocted.

    Akmal
Akmal pushed through the bedroom door with a look of impatience on his face.
Immediately I began my argument. “I have no desire to stay here and I certainly have no desire to be yours, or anyone else’s sex slave.”
Akmal made the sucking noise with his tongue between his teeth that he always made when he was perturbed.
I’ve changed my mind; I began again but was quickly interrupted.
“Silence,” Akmal commanded. “Your incisive chatter is bothering me!”
Akmal removed his suit coat and I watched as he stretched his neck from side to side pulling his tie loose. Why did he have to look so good? The man exuded danger. I couldn’t ever get a read on him.
“Then again I could gag you.”
His hooded eyes looked as if he were challenging me. Finally he spoke, “What happened with the maid?”
“She came in pulling and tugging on me and I couldn’t understand what she was saying. I don’t like her, I want Farah.”
He cut his eyes at me, “But does Farah want you? You cost her a beating because of your insolence.”
“I can go for a walk Akmal.”
“It humors me that you believe that you have a choice
