“I’m done,” she said. “We can go wherever it is we need to go, but I’m going to follow you in my car this time. If my brother is after me, I wouldn’t put it past him to tamper with it while no one is around.”

“Don’t get huffy with me.” He rose to his feet, tucked the book under his arm, and pulled her closer with his free hand.
Luna tilted her head back to look up at him and felt her heart skip a beat. Had he always been this handsome? She’d noticed last night and earlier that he was good looking, but in the waning light he looked downright sexy. Did he always have a five o’clock shadow? He’d had one last night and he had one again today. So, either he hadn’t shaved, or his hair grew really fast. Hmm. Shifter genes. She’d bet on the second option. “You’re staring,” he said.
