Bad Wolf
muscles and bones in his body rearranged.
The howl turned more guttural as his human body transformed. No matter how many
times she’d seen someone change, the beauty of it never ceased to amaze her.
    She
let the pull of her own instinct take over, and her body altered into its were
shape. Run! Zane’s command echoed through her mind, and she loped
forward. Just as she hit a running stride, a heavy mass hurled against her
sending her lurching sideways.
    You’ll
get yours bitch! Sara’s voice reverberated in her head. The yellow she-wolf
growled and snarled, her teeth snapping.
    Nikki
tensed for the blow she knew was coming, but instead, Sara turned and trotted
away. She’s playing with you . Zane nuzzled against her for a moment
before moving away. Forget her for now. If you dwell on it, she’ll get the
satisfaction of knowing she rattled you. He looked back at her, silver eyes
glinting in the moonlight. Run with me! His muscles bunched and he
sprang forward. Nikki growled and followed, the wind flowing around her as she
ran.
    For
a time, Nikki’s mind was blank. The freedom of the run captured her, and she
dashed behind Zane as he zigzagged between trees. She followed him to an
outcropping of rock, where he stood silhouetted by the moon. He reared back and
let loose with a long howl, and Nikki heard the pack’s answering calls echoing
through the woods.
    He
turned toward her, and she stood still on the rocks while he circled around
her. Adrenaline surged through her body. He danced forward and nipped at her
neck before circling her again. Shivers of delight rippled over her as she felt
the chemistry between them crackle in the air.
    Change!
We’re going to play a game. Zane’s punctuated his telepathic command with
growls and snarls. Nikki grinned and then willed her wolf body to give way to
her human form. On a full moon night, the transition was not easy as the wolf
part of her did not want to relinquish its hold on her. Nevertheless, Nikki
concentrated and pushed against the resistance and her body slowly shrunk to
its human counterpart.
    She
knew what game Zane wanted to play. “Chase the human” was a popular game among
the pack. One of the pair would transform to human and the wolf partner would
stalk the prey. Of course, catching a human was easy for a werewolf, but to
make the game more fun, the wolf would play with its prey before pouncing. Once
captured, the human would be mercilessly teased and fucked by the wolf.
Transforming back was not allowed until the game was over.
    Because
of her rank in the pack, Nikki had always been the wolf part of the game. This
was the first time she’d ever played the human. She shuddered with
anticipation. Flee!
    Nikki
took off across the rocks, not noticing as they cut into her bare feet. Wanting
to stir Zane into a frenzy, she looked behind her and screamed. “No! Go away!
Please leave me alone!” She ran into the trees and could hear him racing behind
her, his paws pounding into the ground.
    She
screamed again. “Someone please help me!”
    Zane
growled and nipped at her heels.
    “Oh
no! Please!” She screamed and swerved through the trees, the limbs whipping
against her bare skin.
    No
longer hearing the pounding of his paws behind her, she looked back. She
screamed as Zane leapt towards her. His muscles rippled with power as he glided
through the air. The weight of his body pushed hers to the ground. She
struggled with him, fingers shoving against the matted fur covering his chest.
No use. She was no match for his inhuman strength even though she was stronger
in human form than any mortal woman.  “Let me go!” she screamed.
    He
growled and bared his teeth as he jerked her onto her back. His claws sank into
her skin and she yelped in pain. His silver eyes burned with lust, and she
realized she’d played the part so well he’d completely given up the pretense of
stalking her. He was going to take her right then and there.
    A
low growl sounded in his throat.
