his crew neck t-shirt. Her hands glided from his biceps to just above his sweatpants. She sled them under his shirt and flat on his abdomen, pulling the hem back up to his neck and over his head to reveal his upper body.
Now was her chance to examine his tattoos. A dragon’s body started under his left arm and wrapped behind his back and over his shoulder with part of the dragon’s wing on his left shoulder and the head reaching just above his left nipple. A tribal tattoo with red ink randomly placed within it adorned his right shoulder.
Seductively, she placed kisses all over his chest. She circled her tongue around each nipple before moving down to his six pack. Two Japanese symbols, one over the other, marked his abs right above his navel.  As Sydney traced the “V” where his lower abs met his hip flexors with her index fingers, she noticed the little chameleon tattoo just below his waistband.
“Really, a chameleon? Not that I get the significance of the others, but at least they’re manly. This seems too boyish.”
Grabbing her by the wrists, Marcus jerked her back to meet his face. “It’s a warning,” he said, and then gave her a quick smooch.
A warning? Now her curiosity was peeked. “Should I be scared?”
The grin that he wore across his face indicated that she should be scared, very scared.
“You choose whether you want to continue on the little sexual quest you’ve begun or if you’re happy with half the package.”
Sydney was not going through all that seductive bull shit again. Before she even knew it, her hands found his waistband. Slowly, she peeled the heavy jersey material down, first exposing the softest ringlets of dark black hair and couldn’t resist the temptation to insert her finger into one and pull. She was so giddy with excitement that she laughed. That’s when she saw it. If possible the grin on Marcus’ face grew even bigger at her sharp intake of air and bulging eyes.
Sydney expected the enormous penis but not the barbell that was pierced through it.
“It’s an apadrayva.”  He explained, “I got it as a dare in college.”
“What college did you go to?” was all she could muster while her brain was still deciphering the recent discovery.
“Steven’s Institute of Technology.” He could practically hear the crickets. “We were being stereotyped as geeks, my manhood was in question, and they dared me to do the manliest thing they could come up with. Obviously we were drinking, heavily, and the next thing I know we’re crossing the river into New York. I woke up to it the next afternoon.” Marcus paused to catch his breath. “It does its job,” he said as the smile returned to his face.
Well, now I know his name, his age, his favorite color, and where he went to college. That’s enough for me.
As they stared at each other, quiet knocking on the door escalated to a pounding, finally breaking the trance between them. Sydney got up to retrieve the room service cart. She was curious to see what Marcus had ordered. Oysters, Baby Back Ribs with extra sauce, fruit salad with strawberries, kiwi, mango and pineapple chunks, chocolate mousse pie, a can of whip cream, and a bottle of wine.
“With the way your body looks, I know this is not your typical lunch. What’s up?” Sydney asked.
“I figured that if we were spending the afternoon in, we ought to have a little fun with all your aphrodisiac foods,” Marcus replied as he reached for the bottle of wine.
“I hope this doesn’t come off as being easy, but I don’t need all this food to make me hot for you. You alone do that.”
“Oh really, then why are we still standing here? I recall you were on some kinda expedition. Care to finish your exploring?” There was that grin. It seemed to have made a permanent home on his face.
“I’ve never started something I couldn’t finish, and I’m pretty sure I’ve already discovered the treasure. But I am feeling a little hungry. Maybe we should eat.”
