gentle kisses along her temple, eyes, lips, and neck. They were completely silent as all three worked at slowing their heart rates. After a few moments, her body calmed. Denver had already removed his mouth from her neck and Dillon slowly slid his fingers from her. The brothers helped get her clothes and hair back to the most presentable look possible as she continued to lean against Denver.
“You are absolutely beautiful,” Denver whispered against her ear.
“And you are ours now, Summer.” Dillon made it clear about the claim that had just been staked.

    * * * *

Summer felt sated and boneless. She did not know it was possible to feel this fulfilled and not have a hard male inside of her. Two pairs of hands, two mouths, and sensual encouragement had her flying high. Too bad she had to come down off of that natural high and return to the dinner table with her sister, brother-in-law, Daisy, and a brooding Dalton.
She wondered if they had overheard her. The way the jealousy burned from Dalton’s scalding gaze let her know that he at least had an idea of what they were doing. Crap.
“I forgot how much you love sunsets. It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” Spring asked.
The question caused Summer to ease a little bit. Neither her sister nor her husband had a clue that she had just melted on the other side of the huge tree. Daisy just smiled and began eating, but the way Dalton watched her unnerved her. Why hadn’t he joined them?
Why didn’t she feel bad about what had just happened on the other side of the tree? Summer knew that what she had just shared with Dillon and Denver should have been wrong, but it didn’t feel wrong. It felt natural. She had just been with two men she was completely attracted to. Two men who should have been off-limits to her. Two men who seemed comfortable sharing a woman.
Summer shook the thought away. There was no way she would allow herself to think of the women they may have been with. For once she would have what she wanted. Even if she couldn’t have all three men, two would be enough. For now.

Chapter 6

    Day 2

When she woke up that morning, Summer came to the conclusion that she would do a little exploring. She decided to drive into town and wander into the different shops that lined the streets. Breakfast was first on the list. A smiled quickly formed when she stepped into Grace’s.
“Hey, I see you just can’t stay away. I love it when we win over a new customer,” Grace teased as she watched Summer take a seat at the counter instead of a booth.
“Good morning, Grace.” Summer looked around the diner, impressed at how many customers she recognized from the lunch rush the day before. It seemed that the diner was filled with devoted customers. “Some of these people were here when I came for lunch yesterday.”
Grace grinned proudly. “Oh, it’s like this all the time. We are blessed to have the ability to keep customers coming back for more. They are very loyal.”She set a glass of water in from of Summer as well as a place setting. “You’re eating breakfast, right?”
Summer laughed. She had a feeling that if she had told Grace no, she would have brought her something to eat anyway. “Yes, ma’am, I’m eating breakfast.” She gave Grace her order.
Once Summer had finished eating her breakfast, Grace returned, a smile tugging at her lips.
“So, I assume no one knows you’ve left the ranch?”
Summer almost choked on her water at that statement. Several thoughts flowed through her mind all at once.
Why does everyone assume I need a damn keeper?
As much as Summer wanted to be rude to Grace, she couldn’t. She knew people in this town were observant as hell, but Summer decided to play dumb and see where this conversation was going.
“Where did that question come from, Grace?”
Grace stood, hands on hips, grin growing even wider. “Oh, honey, I raised a couple of kids. Don’t play dumb with me. Even when you were staying with your sister, one of
