really bad and finally got it. She must have needed him to fuck her since puberty.
She knew his words were just sex talk. She wasn’t getting laid like this and a man like him to keep in one night. “Good. Because I’m pretty sure you are going to have to help me take a shower. I also know for damn sure after you got fresh enough to put your finger up my ass, the least you can do is cook the post-sex meal.”
He smiled wide. Laughed loud and deep. He rolled out of her bed and looked at her. “What do you want to eat?’

Chapter 2

Bruce sauntered over to her dresser and said, “Which drawer has your underwear in it?”
“What?” She giggled. He waited. “Second.”
He opened the drawer and looked for something pretty and hopefully expensive. “I’m taking these.”
She laughed again. “Is that payment for all this?”
“No. Insurance. You’ll want them back, right?” He wanted to see her again. Hopefully she would attempt to reclaim them. It was the best plan he could come up with at the moment. His brain was pretty foggy and his body tired.
“If you want me to track you down for underwear, you have the wrong pair. My favorite pair, the ones I wear when I need to feel pretty, say like when I get a cast on my arm before lunch. Are on the floor.”
He shrugged. He picked up that pair too. “So now I have both. I’ll see you when you come to get them.”
“I do know where you live. I’ve been in this building as long as Dagney has.” She warned him.
“I was counting on it.” He winked.

“I have been calling you for hours,” Dagney said as he walked into her apartment. Bruce looked from his angry little sister to her boyfriend sitting on the couch. He toasted him with what looked like a cup of coffee. Foster appeared exhausted and not for the same reason Bruce felt exhausted.
“I thought you were staying at his place from now on.” Bruce attempted to tuck the two pair of underwear he had taken from her into his pocket without notice.
“Are those underwear?” Dagney tilted her head. “You haven’t been in LA twenty-four hours and you already fucked someone?”
                  “Bravo, mate!” Foster said.
Dagney looked like she was going to kill them both after that comment. “Yes. Underwear. Two pair of ladies panties.”
“Two pairs of knickers in one night. You’re a bloody rock star. You shouldn’t be acting you should be touring with a band.” Foster laughed.
“Is that funny to you?” Dagney asked. Foster stopped laughing.
    “A little.” Foster shrugged.
Bruce had to give the guy credit. He wasn’t letting Dagney bully him. She was such a tom-boy. No matter what outfit she was in, there was always an edge to her. He had talked to her through the years, seen her more when they were younger, less after he went to college. If it wasn’t for video chat he likely wouldn’t have seen her at all except in pictures. He missed holiday s, special occasions, funerals, because he worked an unconventional job and during the off season he was focused on the next season.
Football had been both the lif e saving and life destroying opportunity. It saved him from getting into all kinds of trouble as a rambunctious youth, forced him to go to college, and provided a good living that allowed him to take care of himself, his grandparents, his mom, and even his little sister when she really needed him to, which wasn’t often enough. “I don’t see what the big deal is, Dags. You’re leaving. Why do you care?”
“I thought about what you said. I know you came out here partially to be near me. I’m going to
