good, Tiara? Glad to see you’re ready to work,” He smiled and turned to Toma. “Toma, you not ready for this,” He joked. He and Toma were always like that.
“Hey girly, damn them breast are everything. Look like you had a damn boob job, you about to make more tips than me tonight,” She sulked, but hugged me.
“Shit, I need them. The rent and cable is due tomorrow. I need to make something. I thought you were off tonight?”
“I was, but Lance called me in. he said its extra packed and he needs more bottle girls. That nigga know he wanted to see my pretty face,” She giggled and took her coat off.
Toma was a Brazilian bomb shell. She stood 5’7 with golden brown skin that had a natural glow, a lean frame that had two three lumps: one for her ass, and two for her breast. She reminded me of Jlo. She was truly beautiful, but she was the most down to earth person. She came into the country illegal, and married an older man to get her papers. Now three years later and they’re still married and miserable.
“You better stop before your husband knock your ass out,” I joked.
“The only thing Roman will be knocking is on our apartment door. I put his ass out last week.” She sat on the bench and crossed her legs.
                  “What? Why?”
“Girl that man is irritating and he got some woman pregnant from his firm. I don’t care about the baby because I will still end up winning. I didn’t sign a prenup.”
Roman was a lawyer at a prestigious law firm in the city. He had a lot of money, plus he came from wealth. His parents were well known around the city, especially in the Hamptons. Toma got Roman to fall in love with her and get her papers. Now she was married and couldn’t stand him or his family. She felt they were too close and she liked to have her space, instead of gathering around and talking about nothing in particular. Roman was due to make partner at the firm this year, so she waiting so she could divorce him. Although, Toma said she hated Roman, I knew she loved him too. Why else would you stay married even after you received your green card?
“Wow, men aint shit,” I laughed, shocked by the news.
“Say it again, mami,” she high fived me and we went to the bar to get to work.
An hour into working, I was tired and needed a break, but every area in VIP was ordering drink after drink, so I couldn’t take a break. The bartender, Esha, called me over to take two bottles of Moet, with the sparklers on top of it to VIP. I sighed because I avoided them things all night, and now I had to switch through a packed club with them spritzing fire out the top. When I got to the table, two women were sitting there laughing and checking out the men at the next table.
“About damn time. Ordered these over an hour ago,” The short brown skin woman sassed.
“I’m sorry, I don’t know who you bottle girl was, but I’ll fill in for her and make sure you have everything you need,” I said professionally, over the loud music.
“Calm down, Kaysha. Thank you, can you bring us some vodka too, without the sparkler. My sister is so extra,” She looked at her sister and handed me a twenty dollar tip.
“You’re very welcome. I’ll be right back.” I walked back down to the bar and asked for a chill bottle of grey goose. Esha, handed it to me, but grabbed my shirt gently.
“I have four bottles that need to go up to the VIP area on the left. The one with all the men. Toma is missing, and everyone else is busy. Can I depend on you?” She smirked, slipping two
