breathe as I stood up slowly shaking my head to clear the cobwebs. I cautiously approached the closet and inspected the inside. A short barrel shot gun was mounted to the sidewall. A string was tied around the trigger which attached to the inside doorknob. It wasn’t a sophisticated boobie trap but it was effective. I opened the door to the dryer and pulled out a blue duffle bag. I handed the bag to Omar; he looked inside and smiled. We walked back into the front
room. Ash's big ass smile froze on his face when he saw me alive and well. Omar aimed his hammer at Ash and I instantly grabbed his arm.
"Naw man...let him live." I said.
Ash's body relaxed with relief. He rested his head on the wood floor and sighed.
"A few more seconds!" I added shooting him
twice in the head.
The bullets shattered his skull, leaving his blood
spattered eyes staring at the ceiling. We quickly headed for the front door. I snatched a stack of bills out the bag and tossed it at Luis. It landed in the middle of his back, ‘cuz he was still laying face down.
"Gracias amigo!" I said.
"Denada." he said into the wooden floorboards.
I felt the night air brush across my chest as I ran the two blocks to the car. We hopped in and hit the free way…I was thinking the whole ride back.

    New Moves

We rode back to the city in silence. The guns and shit we used was at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. The two dead examples we left in the house, would make niggas think twice before fuckin’ with Biz. Our job was done as far as I was concerned; Omar however was dissatisfied.
"We should of went and hit that apartment Tyce, it wasn't nothin' but three niggas and some naked bitches in there baggin' up product!" He reasoned.
"You don't know that O." I stated. "I aint takin' unnecessary risks for no dope." I said looking out the window.
I grabbed my cell phone and dialed Biz's private number; he picked up on the first ring.
"HELLO!” He shouted.
I pulled the phone away from my ear and looked at it.
"What tha fuck you yellin' in my ear for?" I asked irritated.
"Nigga I aint got time for no games! Jus’ bring me my shit...I got niggas waitin' on it." He spat impatiently.
Something must be wrong I thought to myself, he
aint never this hype. I rubbed my sore chest and sighed, "Aight nigga...calm down. You jus’ turned 75 years old, you can't be yelling like that."
I informed Biz in code, his cut was 75,000 off the hit. The phone went silent.
"Is that all?" He asked.
"Yeah, jus’ the paper...nuthin' else." I said as Omar looked over at me.
Biz clinched his jaws in frustration. "What tha fuck you mean...nuthin' else!" Biz questioned.
"Jus’ what I said man, NOTHING ELSE!" I said more clearly.
Omar pulled the car over to pay closer attention to the conversation. I reclined my seat back and lit a clove cigarette. I blew out the flavored smoke and waited for the bullshit to land.
"You niggas fucked up," he shouted.” I might lose a deal behind you muthafuckas! So consider this a loss nigga, and bring my muthafuckin’ money!" He demanded.
I took another drag off my cigarette and blew the smoke out the window.
"I don't work for free, and I don't take losses nigga! I think you may have forgotten who you talkin’ to, but I can remind you." I warned.
"Look you parentless BASTARD, I'm not tha nigga you wanna fuck with!" He challenged.
I felt a quick surge of anger in my chest over that bastard comment but I kept my cool.
"Alright Biz, grab a pen and write this down." I told him.
Biz smiled as he opened his desk drawer and pulled a pad and pen out. He was all set to write down the instructions on how to get his money.
"Yo write this down…Fuck you! I aint givin' you shit muthafucka!" I shouted hanging up the phone.
Who the fuck he think he was? He must be getting crazy in his old age talking to me like that. He knew I wouldn't go for that bullshit; I don't let niggas run me. That's the very reason he recruited me years ago to be on his
