back out. I see Anne and Wyatt facing each other and talking. The band is taking a break and the jukebox is playing. I let Lynette know I am going outside for a quick cigarette. She nods and walks off to talk to some other people she knows.
I walk outside, the cooler air hits me and it feels good. They have tables set up for smokers to sit at and I go to an empty one. I look out over the parking lot, lost in my thoughts. I feel someone put their hand on my arm and I jump. I look over to see O, laughing at me. He sits down in the chair next to me.
"What the fuck? You scared the shit out of me," I yell and playfully hit him on the arm.
"Yeah? I noticed you were in your own world. How you been, doll?"
"Better, now that you're here." He smiles at me and I smile back.
I get closer to him and grab his hair so his face is closer to mine. He doesn't stop me and I kiss him hard on the lips. He grabs me and pulls me into his lap, the kiss gets deeper as he invades my mouth with his tongue. He pulls away, faster than I wanted and I groan. He looks into my eyes and gets that devilish grin on his face.
"Damn woman. You light me on fire. I have to go back in, we only took a ten minute break."
    "Shit, okay."
"We will pick this back up later."
    "Damn straight."
I get off his lap and we walk back into the bar together. He grabs a beer on his way to the stage and I order a shot. As soon as the bartender hands it to me, I slam it. I order another drink and look back at our table. Wyatt has his arm around Anne's shoulders, their hands intertwined and she is leaning back on him. They are listening to the music, Wyatt looks over at me, smiles and nods. I smile back and shake my head. I knew once they saw each other things would be okay.
I walk back to our table and sit down. Anne looks over and gives me a weak smile. I nod and smile back at her, happy that she isn't running away from him. I look towards the stage and watch O, he is singing his heart out. I can't wait to run my fingers through his hair later tonight. Lynette comes back and sits with us, we all sit quietly and listen to the music.
I am thankful that Lynette only had the one drink, so she can drive my ass home. It's getting late and I want to get the rest of my evening going.
I look over at Anne, "You leaving with Wyatt?"
She smiles, "Yeah. Thanks by the way."
I wink at her, "For what? Go have some fun, you slut."
Wyatt comes up behind Anne and wraps his arms around her, it's so great to see. Anne's whole face lights up as she turns to whisper in his ear. I suddenly get a flash of jealousy, for not having that with someone. I shake myself and remember I don't do those kind of relationships anyway.  I feel someone come up behind me, I turn to see O.
"So, I will come over to your house when we finish loading up all of our stuff. Okay?"
"Of course," I smile back at him.
My stomach does a flip, as I watch him walk back to his band mates and pick up a box. I turn and start walking out with Lynette, anxious to get home. I get into Lynette's mini-van and see Anne hop into Wyatt's truck.
"Thank god, right." Lynette says to me as we watch Anne.
"Yeah. Now come on woman, I got a hot guy coming to my house."
She laughs at me as we pull out of the parking lot.

I walk back towards my band mates, with a stupid grin on my face. I've been hoping for weeks that Jaylah would show back up. I can't get that woman out of my head, I feel like a damn teenager. We had a great night of sex and when I asked her for her number she shut down on me. Damn, someone fucked her up. But then who isn't, I don't have room to talk.
When I went outside earlier to find her. I watched her for a bit, she looked sad and lost. It broke my heart to see her like that. I'm hoping I can break down her wall, piece by little piece. I think we could be good for each other.
I look up to see the guys laughing at me, "What? Assholes."
"This girl has messed with you head, man. I asked you a question and
