down on the bed and looked at the ceiling.  She racked herself out a line of cocaine to try and clear her head.  After she had snorted the line, she climbed into the Jacuzzi.  The bubbles made her think of champagne so she got up and poured herself a glass.  She decided to join Adam and the dancers in his room.  Selena’s relationship with their dancers was a good one, they were like sisters.
She didn’t bother knocking when she got to Adam’s room.  Nobody ever did at the Motel; everyone who was staying in the Motel was always welcome to join the party.  That was how it rolled.
By the time she got to Adam’s room they Adam and the dancers were lying together on the bed, listening to Tracy Chapman and smoking a spliff.
“MMM, give me some of that.” Said Selena going over to the bed.  Adam passed her the joint and smiled.
“Where is Ivan Selena?” One of the dancers asked.  Her name was Yvette.
Selena pointed out toward the corridor.
    “Somewhere out there” she shrugged.
Adam and Yvette went back to kissing and touching each other.  Selena climbed into bed with them and ended up falling asleep.  She was so tired.

    Chapter 5
The days weeks and months rolled by in a similar fashion and soon the closing party of the season was upon them.  They had a fantastic line-up of DJs, and special guest Adrianna performing.  Adrianna was currently number one across the globe with her number 1 single ‘Make it work”.  She was staying in the Motel with her posse, and already told Ivan and Selena that she had never seen anything quite like it.
That night of the closing party was wilder than all the nights that had come before.  It had gone off with a bang.
The next day Ivan and Selena lay in bed together, still not having slept.
“Let’s take the boat out today sweetie. Just you and me.” Said Selena, stroking Ivan’s chest.
“What a great idea!” Ivan said.  He looked around for his mobile phone and saw it on the floor by the Jacuzzi.  He quickly snorted a line of coke and picked it up.
“Paul” he said as the voice on the other end of the phone answered.
“Get the boat ready.  Come and pick us up in an hour.”
Selena and Ivan waited outside the Motel for Paul to come and pick them up.  As they climbed inside sliding onto the white leather seats of the Rolls Royce, Ivan rested his hand on Selena’s knee.
    “Lovely idea sweetheart” said Ivan.
“Getting away like this.” Selena leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.
“I just wanted to be with you.” She said.  And she meant it.  Leaning her head on his shoulder she looked out at sea.
Paul dropped them off at the harbour and they headed down to board the boat.
The skipper was waiting for them.
“Ah! Mr Ivan!  Miss Selena!” he said as they climbed on board.
“We have fruits, water, wine, champagne of course, the most delicious cheese – is there anything else you will require.”
“No that sounds marvellous.  Thank you skipper” said Ivan, holding out his hand to help Selena on board.  And they set sail.
As the waves lapped up against the boat and Ivan and Selena lay together in the sun on deck Selena sat up to more them more champagne.
“Wow what a crazy summer hey?” said Ivan.
    “Yeah.” Selena smiled at him.
“To Select” she said, toasting Ivan’s glass.
    “And to us.” Said Ivan.
    They toasted and then kissed.
They both knew that a lot had happened that summer.  They both knew that they had each felt insecure and jealous with the flirtations they had found themselves involved in with other people.  But they never spoke about them to each other.  They knew that it was the only way it would work.  There was no other way.
“Ivan” said Selena, unsure how to tell him how she really felt, how she loved him but how the drugs and the parties made her sometimes feel she was in love with other people, people she hardly knew.
    “Yes baby?” he asked.
    “Nothing” she replied.
    She laid
