any other time this would have made me feel self-conscious and uncomfortable,
but for some reason I felt at peace; I liked having him ravage me with his

    “You’re mine now. You know this,” he said, his eyes
still staring deeply into mine.
    I gulped, intimidated by him, but slightly numbed by
