me it was your first time?” He whispered as he looked in to her
big hazel eyes. Ivy shrugged with a shy smile.
“I didn’t want you to say no…” Luther leaned in and kissed
her again gently.
“I would have, you know.” Ivy nodded.
“I know, that’s why I didn’t tell you.” Luther shook his
head.
“What am I going to do with you?” Ivy grinned.
“I think I could come up with something?” She jumped off the
edge of the table as Luther tucked himself back in to his jeans and zipped them
up. Turning around she noticed a wet sticky spot on the table and she looked
over at Luther wide eyed. “Oh my God we came on the pool table!” Luther laughed
loudly as Ivy began rubbing at the wet spot. “It’s not funny!” Luther couldn’t
help his laughter.
“Honey, no one will know it was us. We’ll just wipe it down
with some water and no one will know.” Ivy ran over to the bar to get a glass
of water and some napkins. “Shouldn’t you get dressed first?” Luther called
after her. Ivy reappeared with the water and giggled.
“Why? In case someone catches me walking around a restaurant
butt naked?” Luther nodded.
“You never know!” Ivy started trying to clean up the felt on
the pool table.
“Well, then they should have turned up earlier and they
would have gotten a better view.” Luther laughed as he took the glass of water
and napkins from her.
“Go get yourself dressed, let me do this.” Ivy did as she
was told.
“You know, this might have to become our little meeting
place.” Ivy said as she slipped on her shorts.
“Oh? Why is that?” Ivy pulled her shorts up.
“Because I have to move home for the summer soon and there
is no way in hell my parents are going to let me see you.” Luther stepped back
from the pool table to make sure no stain was visible.
    “Smart parents.” He said.
“Oh I know, you’re just a beast!” Ivy joked as she picked up
her shirt and whipped Luther with it.
“I may be a beast,” Luther turned around to face her, “but
I’m a beast with my own place.” Ivy’s eyebrows shot up.
“Oh really?” Luther laughed as he shook his head.
“What, did you think I lived in a dorm?” Ivy shrugged.
“I don’t know…I just never thought about you having your own
place.” She pulled her shirt over her head. “But the thought of it now opens up
a whole new realm of possibilities.” Luther rolled his eyes.
“Oh God, I’ve created a monster!” Wrapping her up in his
arms, Luther bent down and kissed Ivy on the forehead. “Come on, monster, let’s
get out of here, it’s getting late.”

Chapter 7

Ivy began looking forward to the nights at work when she was
scheduled to close and she even volunteered to take over other closing shifts
as well. Despite the fact that Luther had his own place – and a very exciting
motorcycle to ride to get there – there was something that Ivy found thrilling
about having sex on the pool table. Ivy’s parents were becoming worried however
with the number of night shifts she had been taking.
“Ivy, your dad and I…we really think you need to slow down
at work. We know that you don’t have school now with it being summer and all,
but we don’t want you working too hard. We can help you with the money if
that’s what you need?” Ivy smiled.
“Thanks mom, but I’m fine really.” Ivy’s mom frowned.
“Honey, you’re only a month in to summer and you’re looking
so pale and burned out. You’re just sleeping all day and working all night and
it’s just not healthy!” Ivy hated to agree with her mom, but she had been
feeling a little off lately. Perhaps she had been overdoing it just a little
bit.
“I tell you what, I’ll talk to LaTisha and see if I can drop
one shift a week?” Her mom thought about this for a moment.
“Two. You’re already working six days a week and I think if
you can cut it down to four then that will be okay.” Ivy sighed, she knew it
wouldn’t be a problem with
