    “The waitress is a dragon shifter. She can take care of both of us. I just wanted to let you know that I won’t be calling you for a few hours.”

    Suzy set the alarm on her phone for nine in the morning. She didn’t think she would sleep that long, but she didn’t want to risk Cindy calling Roger.
