every inch to make sure you come at least half a dozen times.”
Damn, how can you argue with that?

Once Cassie and I are over in my apartment, I help her get settled. And after I let her know she can have my bed, I take a sheet and a blanket out to the living room and make up a bed for myself.
I fluff up a throw pillow, and then lie down on the sofa. But there’s no relaxing for me. Not when I know I’ll be leaving the apartment soon, and not when I’m too wound up to stop thinking about Chase. Still, I try to rest since I am hoping Cassie is asleep by the time I slip out.
All I end up doing, though, is tossing and turning. The sheet and blanket get tangled with the peach-colored sleep shorts and matching tee I’m wearing, until I mutter, “Oh hell,” and toss the blanket to the floor.
Even though I’ve given up on sleeping, Cassie is out. Or so I assume, as there’s a light snore coming from my room. But I want to be certain, so I get up from the sofa and go check on her.
She is sleeping soundly, with one hand under the pillow and the other resting against the iron bars of the antique headboard at the top of my bed. Tiptoeing silently back to the front of the apartment, I slip on a pair of flip-flops, and then hurry over to the main house.
When I reach the front door, I find it unlocked, as per my plan with Chase. Quietly, I let myself in. It’s dark in the hall, and it takes a few seconds for my eyes to adjust, but when I can at least make out shadows and such, I kick off my flip-flops and head upstairs.
Since I have no idea which bedroom Chase gave to Will, I’m careful walking by all the closed doors. When I reach Chase’s bedroom at the end of the hall, I give the door a light, silent push, allowing enough space for me to slip inside.
I’ve been fairly quiet up to this point, but Chase wakes immediately when he hears me step into his room.
Propping himself up on his elbows in his full-size bed, which incidentally makes all the muscles in his arms and shoulders bunch up enticingly, he whispers a sleep-thick, “Hey.”
He rubs at his eyes, and the sheet slips down far enough for me to see he’s naked—and already hard, if the tented cotton is any indication.
My pulse races in anticipation as I pause, just a few feet inside the doorway. Chase smiles at me. It never fails to amaze me how unaware he is of how absolutely breathtaking he can be. Like now, tonight, in this moment. I take in his smooth chest, wide and strong, and how his biceps flex when he flips back the sheet to make room for me. I sigh. The man is just perfection.
“Kay,” he chuckles, the tone of his voice lowering. “Come to me.”
That’s all I need to hear. I go to him without hesitation.
I know we don’t have a lot of time, but it doesn’t matter. I’m wet and ready for Chase, like always. He has that effect on me. And my arousal heightens further still as I’m discarding my shirt, shorts, and underwear along the hasty path I blaze to the bed.
But before I can lie down next to him, Chase reaches up, halting my progress by gently placing his hand on my hip. “Wait,” he says.
He skims his hand up my side, eliciting a shiver. When he reaches my left breast, he traces little circles around the nipple.
I lean my head back. “Mmm…”
With his fingers slowly trailing down my stomach, with the promise of traveling lower, he says, “You’re so beautiful, Kay, standing before me like this, naked, vulnerable— mine .”
    “I am yours,” I murmur.
Chase’s words stir me. Not just my body, but my heart as well. There is something so raw, so sincere, in the way he speaks. And when it finally gets through to me that this man actually finds me beautiful, a lump forms in my throat. “Chase,” I whisper, my voice cracking, “I don’t deserve you.”
“Aww, sweet girl, you’ve got that all mixed up.” He pulls me down to him, until my naked body covers his. Wrapping his arms around me, he softly caresses my
