Storm laid down on her right side while Austin sat on the left. Trey left the room to gather up some much needed food along with coffee to help keep them awake. Returning about half hour later, he returned with a tray piled with sandwiches, chips, cups of coffee, and some treats for dessert as they hadn’t had a chance to eat out on the trail.
Settling down on the end of the bed, he set the tray at the end of Lisa’s feet so the others could easily reach it, and they ate in silence, watching their patient. The room remained silent as the shadows moved slowly as the day outside turned into dusk and then night. A bedside lamp was turned on and the men remained, though Austin had returned the tray to the kitchen when he had checked with Kevin, the ranch hand he had left in charge in his absence to make sure everything was running all right, before returning to the room, to their woman.
* * * *
The woman slowly woke, confused from her surroundings. This was not her apartment. She didn’t remember how she got there but she saw the three men in bed with her. Her head hurt though she didn’t know why, and she hoped the men hadn’t hurt her.
Flashes of her life came into her head and it frightened her. Moving her hand up to her head, the cuff clanked on her wrist, causing all three men to jump up. Their quick movement frightened her as she instinctively pulled herself into a ball, remembering that someone had hit her before.
A soothing, husky voice to her left sounded near her ear as Austin put a hand on her hip. “Sshhh, little one. We are not going to hurt you.”
“Can you look at me, darlin’? Please?” Storm asked.
Slowly she pulled her arms down away from her head and looked into the light-blue eyes that belonged to one of the most handsome men she had ever seen. The concern in them caused a calm to settle upon her body and she felt she could trust him. Letting her eyes take in his features, she found his blond hair was straight down to his shoulders, which were wide beneath the shirt he wore. His bottom lip was full but she couldn’t see the top lip under the mustache he sported and the thought of him kissing her caused her pussy to leak and her nipples to harden.
Turning to her left, she found a darker man watching her intently. His dark-brown eyes bore into her as if searching her soul, while a smile played at his full lips. A lump on the bridge of his nose testified to the break he had suffered, probably while playing football, and his high cheekbones were something any woman would kill for. His long brown hair spilled down to his waist and she wondered what it would be like to wrap her hands in it or have it drape across her naked breasts while he sucked on her nipples. He, too, was broad in the shoulders, his hand large with thick fingers that were splayed on her hip.
At the end of the bed, at her feet was a man with similar looks to the one to her right, though he had dark-blond hair that came to right above his shoulders. His green eyes flashed with delight, but she also saw desire there. He sported a scruffy beard as if he hadn’t shaved in a few days, which was becoming on him. He, too, was solidly built and she wanted to see what these men looked like without their clothes.
Looking back at Storm she tried to sit up but found that a dizzying feat so stayed where she was, relaxing and stretching out her body. “Where am I?”
“You are at our home. We found you in the mountains after you fell down a ravine. What is your name?”
Opening her mouth she started to speak, but closed it again quickly when she couldn’t remember. Confusion ruled her features and the men took it as stubbornness.
“We’re not going to hurt you,” Austin tried to reassure her. “We are trying to help you.”
Tears welled in her iris-colored eyes as she looked from one man to the other and then landed back on Storm as he gathered her in his arms.
“It’s okay, darlin’. We promise not to hurt you. Were
