    “Same here, I got a few sizes, one should fit,” Lilly said as Dr. Passen opened the door.
    “Good.” Jasmine strode into the room and watched the two wrinkle their noses in her direction. They both inhaled again and looked at Danielle, who was a full-blood, and then at Lilly who was a half-breed. Jasmine wanted to laugh at the confused looks on their faces.
    “Hello, I am Jasmine Knight, mate of La Patron, Silas Knight. You met him earlier.” She pulled out a chair, sat and waited for some clue they understood. “The tall man with the long, black hair.”

It would’ve been funny if the disrespect hadn’t been so blatant. Danielle growled behind her, the sound filled the room. Jasmine knew she needed to calm her daughter-in-law down. She didn’t want the children hurt. “It’s okay Danielle,” she spoke over her shoulder while watching Sarita’s face pale.
